I've been getting my adderall filled here since 10/2022. I live in LC, but I work in Moss Bluff so driving the 5 min to their place was convenient. 4 hrs after dropping my script off on 9/6/23, the owner called me telling me that since I didn't have any other medications filled with them, they couldn't fill it. I offered to have my hormone transferred to them, but he told me it was too late and they would never fill it for me again. I have only been approached ONCE by their staff, which was in June, about needing a maintenance med filled along with the adderall. I told the owner that I offered to have my 14yr old's THREE monthly meds transferred over and it was agreed to. The woman at the window had asked a pharmacist & they agreed that would work. He told me there was no way I didn't know before that (basically calling me a liar). No one had ever said anything to me before June of this year. There was never a notice put in my bag, nor was I ever asked to sign anything acknowledging that I had been warned that I would never be allowed to fill my script there if I didn't have other meds filled there.
To make matters worse when I returned 2 days later to pick my paper script up, no one knew where it was. More than 15 min later, they found it. This caused me to be late getting back to work.
As if how they handled things this week hadn't already been inconvenient enough...when I went to get my script filled on 9/9/23 at a different pharmacy, they made me aware that Pettit's had filed a claim with my ins on 9/6, even though they refused to fill it.
