This edit is for a later visit on August 21, 2017: Our dog, Frodo, developed cancer. The staff, particularly the two vets and vet techs, we so wonderful to both him and us through his ordeal. They gave us options and worked with us within our financial means. We had do eventually do what was best for him and they helped us send him over the Rainbow Bridge with such grace, dignity, and compassion that we felt they loved him as much as we did. We will be forever grateful to this clinic for all everyone did, even after he was gone, to comfort us. Many vets are only about the money they can get from their clients, but North Neighbourhood Vet isn't. They deeply love animals and it shows.

My vet was mortified to see that neighbourhood pet clinic just kept sending her home in this state. My dog is on medication and every time I called to get a refill on my prescription, they inevitably said they had to check with the vet and call me back. This never happened and I would always have to call back the next week and ask why I hadn't heard from someone. Same thing happened when I moved. I called to ask them to fax over my dog's records. Four days later when I arrived for my appointment, the paperwork still hadn't arrived. Apparently they are busy, as they have just expanded to a second location, but that's no excuse for the service I had experienced.

They watch the dog interaction well and are good about which dogs they put in which play groups if they get along.
