This shop does specialise in fish (cold and warm water) with a wide range of equipment and supplies…read morebut it also sells a wide range of other pet supplies. There is a good selection of dog toys, beds, food and leads, things for cats, rabbits and birds. They also sell small furries such as hamsters and gerbils along with fish and birds. Lots of parking outside and the staff are knowledgable.

Good selection of pet food and pet accessories. Some of the cages and hutches available are below…read morethe RSPCA minimum sizes though, which I think they have a responsibility to address. Their reptiles appear to be well cared for and the staff are very knowledgeable about reptile care. They also have a wide selection of fish I cannot comment on the welfare of fish as I do not know enough about them! But they are always very clean. However, I am often concerned about the welfare of their rabbits and guinea pigs the enclosures are TINY and often have up to 6 rabbits in each. Unacceptable in this day and age! The enclosures are kept clean at least, but there is nowhere private for the animals to go and they must get very stressed. Even the rats are provided with igloos, so why not the rabbits? They also feed museli style mixes of all people Seapets should know that young animals should be fed on a pellet-style food to prevent selective feeding. Also no mental stimulation is provided for the rabbits or guinea pigs. The birds also seem very stressed, and often overcrowded/insufficient perch space for pet birds. However, I must say that the hamsters, gerbils and rats are well cared for and provided with a good variety of environment enrichment. But I certainly would not buy an animal from here.
