Don't even think about PURCHASING GAS from this LOCATION - Petro-Canada at Yonge & Eagle St. in Newmarket.
Long story short:
- DO you want to be RIPPED OFF and have money STOLEN FROM YOU at the GAS PUMP then ACCUSED of being a Liar and NOT RECEIVE ALL THE SERVICES YOU PAID FOR?
- Do you want to be VERBALLY ABUSED AT, AND SWORN AT from the Gas Attendant late in the evening?
- DO you want to be THREATENED and YELLED AT to get OUT OF THE STORE and NEVER come back if you see that gas attendant's face?
If you answer is NO to all of these, then I would HIGHLY ADVISE that you VISIT another Gas Station.
Sent in Complaint to Head Office - No Response for almost 2 weeks now and have been sending in a complaint daily. They sure really know how to avoid a situation when they are in the wrong and NO ONE wants to take ownership of this. Their Customer Service sends out "STANDARD" responses and passes off the complaint off to the "Independent Owner", but DO NOT follow up.
They OBVIOUSLY DO NOT CARE about their GUESTS and hire Employees who DO NOT CARE about their JOB and their CUSTOMERS.
They also SCAM and STEAL Money from you.
They ALWAYS HAVE PUMPS NOT WORKING Properly.
And NEVER have RECEIPT PAPERS in their Machines.
I hope KARMA HITS them with their SCAMMING Ways of STEALING money from people and the INDEPENDENT OWNER should LEARN the RESPONSIBILITIES of Owning a Business since he clearly has NO ethical business sense or understanding of CONSUMER SATISFACTION.
I wouldn't even give this a one-star RATING if I had the CHOICE.
But, I will use whatever SOCIAL Media Out there to tell people about my experience and let people be BUYER BEWARE.
I just hope that NO One else Experiences what I have, being a female, purchasing Gas at this station in the late evening, then having to endure this type of behaviour with acquisitions of lying, being accused of stealing gas, and verbally abused - sworn at and given a threat to never step foot again at the station.

Owner had finally contacted me back. He took the time to listen to what I had to say and sincerily cared about my current situation and apologized many times.
He did his investigation through video footage, and can see that his employee was in the wrong with how he reacted with me. The employee had also lied to the Owner, telling him that he told me to contact the gas station in the morning to speak with the manager. He never did admit to swearing at me nor the threat to never step foot back in the store, which is extremely disappointing coming from someone older thn Iam (caucasion male in his late 40's-50's).
Although, no audio was recorded in the video, my detailed explaination of what happened that night correlated with the actions which took place. I had even sent in pictures of my purchase - from the pump to my pending charge and final charge on my visa statement.
The Owner, Stoj, has since rectified the situation. He will have another discussion with the employee regarding the series of events that took place that evening. He will be reprimended for his actions. I can guarantee he would not have thought I would push my complaint as far as I did, but I am a strong believer that people of all ages, nationality, gender, etc should all be treated in a respectful manner, therefore, I would not let go of this until it was resolved.
It is such a shame that this employee clearly could not see from right from wrong. And to think, he apparently had been given positive feedback from other customers. However, I can be certain with the actions he displayed on March 28, this is NOT the first time he has verbally abused someone. It is too bad that not enough people report incidents which happen in businesses. I know that most people would just choose to never visit a specific business ever again. I still make the decision to not visit this gas station again.
