However, the eggs were served almost raw with the whites slimy and just this side of salmonella. I sent them back and a few minutes later the waiter brought them, still uncooked, but more browned on top so, obviously, the kitchen just stuck them under the grill for a minute or two. Did not complain a second time, although I should have, and just ate some of the bread and the beef chunks served with it. Pointed out the uncooked egg whites to the waiter when he brought the bill in hopes that he would check with the manager and take them off our bill. Nope, so with my limited Spanish, I didn't even attempt to ask for this. My wife's omelet was "just ok". I guess the five star reviews must be for the pastries and the Yucatecan menu items.
