great little italian traiteur - albeit greatly expensive as well. walk in to the tiny shop and…read morebreathe deep - the smells are seductive and i spend far too much time just staring at everything before i can manage to tame my lust, restrain myself and choose what i want. the store is bursting with delicious things. behind the glass counter lies the bounty. a concise selection of italian products: charcuterie, sausages, prosciutto crudo and cotto (they have a rosemary ham that is spectacular), cheeses, baby artichokes in olive oil and herbs, olives, marinated wild mushrooms, fresh pesto and tapanade, sundried tomatoes more hams and sausages hang from strings from the ceiling and there are boxes of panettone stacked up on the counter. the shelves opposite the counter are packed with pastas of all kinds, bottled sauces, canned anchovies, capers, tomatoes, biscotti, olive oils, vinagers - so many things. the men here are always nice - not overly but i like it that way.
