I did a quick search and GA Barbershop popped up first--only 950 feet from my hotel. I gave them a call, asked if they were busy and if I could come in. "No problem," they said. When I got there, I met the owner, waited maybe two minutes, and then Moe called me over to his chair. From start to finish--what an awesome experience. The haircut, beard trim, and straight razor shave were all top-notch. If you're looking for a barbershop in the area, this is the place to go. I asked the stylist to tame it and we agreed to a spot about 3 inches, plus trim on the sides. I removed my glasses and said "I trust your judgement" which was a mistake. She worked on it and when she was done I put my glasses back on and my beard was less than an inch long. She said when she got to the spot we agreed to she thought it was still too wild so she kept trimming, without asking me. I didn't complain, because the damage was done and I thought it would grow back quickly, but a month later it's still much shorter than I want - and much shorter than we agreed to. If I can't trust a stylist while my glasses are off, I can't go back here.

I accidentally shaved part of my hair and left myself a bad looking bald spot before an important event. I popped into the Dedham location right at closing time, desperate for any help I could get. Justin immediately agreed to help and he didn't complain that it was already 6pm. He was friendly and accommodating and did an amazing job blending in the spot I gave myself. To my surprise, he wouldn't even accept money when I tried to pay! He got me out of a serious pinch, and I couldn't be more grateful. Please give this place a shot if you're on the fence.
