Don't even get me started on the pain they inflict on me and my poor teeth. Which is why I find this review hilarious. Why? Because I love this dentist. They tick all the boxes, healthcare provider rebates, clean, steady hands, state of the art equipment, before and after pictures, you name it. They have it. I've had my teeth scaled, cleaned and filled here. Even pulled. I can confidently say, not once have I felt any pain. Not once... sound impossible? Well that's what I thought. Dr Ha is very good at what he does. He makes all the other dentists I've gone too seem incompetent. He is professional, friendly and takes care of your fears... even fixes your teeth. They are very upfront with the prices as well so you're not caught unawares at the end. Tam cleaned my teeth and scaled them, twice. I didn't feel any pain at all... steady hands, steady efficient hands ensured the job was done without delay or speed. I was suitably very impressed. With the appearance of a house converted into a practice, there is a myriad of magazines in the waiting room with a large screen telly and kids cars and toys to amuse the little ones while you wait. I am definetly a regular here, and I love my teeth again!

My husband who came with me for support also said how relaxing the Clinic is, and he's planning on getting a lymphatic drainage massage there next week. My Naturopath Amy Angus is so skilled and a genuinely lovely person. I could tell she really cared about my health and wellbeing. In my Initial Naturopath Consultation, she asked me to carry out various tests, including a Food Allergy and Intolerance Test, a SIBO test and a Heavy Metal Toxicity hair analysis. She prescribed me several supplements, which the Clinic stocked on their shelves, so I could start taking them straight away. I visited her again several weeks later, and she spent the whole consultation explaining my test results and coming up with a full plan of action for me. it felt so reassuring - I will definitely go back for the further 3 consultations she has recommended. I saw Jeremy Walker, their Hypnotherapist, later that same week, for help with my anxiety. I was a bit scared to do hypnosis and at first thought I would just do mindset therapy with him, but he is so reassuring and gentle that I felt comfortable to go ahead with being hypnotised. Let's just say - I already feel less stressed and anxious, and I'm going back for another session next week! I can't recommend Brisbane Livewell Clinic and its practitioners enough! I live in Clayfield, and it's so wonderful having my Naturopath near me and close access to a wellness clinic with so many different practitioners! 5 stars, go see them today!!

The staff there are very friendly and will make sure you're comfortable with the procedure before starting. I'm not particularly squeamish when it comes to injections or blood tests, but I still don't find it pleasant, and the air of nonchalance with which the staff approach it at this centre in particular was reassuring to me. At first I was slightly put off by the shabby interior, which wasn't dirty or unhygienic in any way, but more so fashioned as if it was built in the '70s. But again, don't let this turn you off because if you're searching for a collection centre that is central, fast, and friendly, you've found it. NB: The centre is closed from 1-1:30pm for the staff's lunch breaks, so if you're making a mad dash there on your own lunch break, I'd advise trying to come in early before work or afterwards.

Absolutely the worst Private Hospital. The Executive Office "investigate" the hospital complaints…read moreensuring the patient is to blame. No proper investigation or investigative skills. A male Nurse lied saying a patient refused medication and told him to leave the room. The patient was on the phone to another who can confirm the lies of the Nurse. The investigating person never asked to speak to the person on the phone for corroboration of the Nurses lies. Furthermore, the investigative person then accused the patient of swearing stating several "reputable" Nurses heard. The patient said they did not swear yet this fell of deaf ears. Of course a complaint made by the patient turns into the patient being blamed. When the patient asked what context the word was used, the Executive Investigator refused to say. When told the patient was on the phone and all conversations can be corroborated, the female Executive person once again refused to speak to the person on the phone to dismiss the lies of swearing. Why? Treatment was withheld by the male nurse for hours placing the patients life at risk. Nothing done with the original complaint by the patient about the Nurse. The lack of investigation is appalling. Blaming a patient falsely of swearing then refusing a proper investigation of their complaint is totally unacceptable.

He is the go-to man for medical certificates, drunken injuries and scripts for contraception. Whilst there are six other doctors in his practice, none of them seemed to have gained the notoriety that Bingham has, perhaps because he's an old collegiate himself, knows the ways of college life and loves to have a chat about it. Dr Bingham was my doctor until one day I couldn't get in to see him and went to see Dr Dutney instead. I've been with her ever since, partly because I prefer to have a female doctor, but also because she always remembers me, never seems in a hurry and is happy to answer any questions. Despite having moved to the other side of town, I'll keep going back to the St Lucia Family Practice and to Dr Dutney, as the treatment and service is so personalised.

My GP, Dr Murray Bingham, is fantastic - he is considerate, compassionate and boasts a wealth of knowledge - treating everything from a broken foot (if he ever reads this - sorry I never wore the space boot!) to the flu. He often has university medical students training alongside him, who he encourages to come up with a diagnosis. My neighbour, who generally drives me there in time of need, has actually bumped into him during his break, shared a coffee and proceeded to ask how my foot was healing. It's comforting to know that your doctor remembers who you are and genuinely cares for your health and well-being! Important to note: bulk-billing is available.

Peter's a gentle older guy, very good at explaining what he's going to do prior to diving in without warning. When I told him that I get anxious about needles, he actually listened, giving me plenty of warning (and numbing gel) and talking me through everything. I assume this is his standard way of operating, as this is one of the reasons he was recommended to me by a workmate in the first place. The dental nurses and receptionists at MJ Mylne are also all lovely to deal with. There's generally very little wait time, and fillings are performed very quickly. There's another MJ Mylne clinic at Cleveland, and Peter spends his time between the two clinics, so some days he is available at Cleveland and other days at Capalaba. I'm abstaining from five stars for MJ Mylne Dental because in the last twelve months I had to take an appointment while Peter was on leave, and I wasn't a fan of the younger dentist who took my appointment. He was quite rough and spent the duration of my appointment chatting (to the point of flirting) with the dental nurse. Not Very cool - and yet if anything, made me more confident in choosing Peter as my dentist.
