Most of the time, I'm there for cleaning. The 2 hygienists I've worked with since I moved to AZ have been wonderful and so easy to work with. I now have a new one too and she is very friendly and has been working with my husband for years. At every visit, the dentist stops by to check my teeth and asks me if I have any concerns. I've had multiple dentist check on me so far and they have a new dentist now too. They have all been professional and courteous. The office has been developing since I moved here. They always have new machines & are up to date. Prices are average for procedures. When you have a procedure suggested, they always check your benefits and go over everything with you before you start. I've not had any issues related to insurance or payments with them and everything has been very accurate. We've been very pleased with their service for the past 5+ years.

I still have ABSOLUTELY NONE of the dental issues PPFD claimed I had that needed urgent attention. In fact I have been repeatedly told my teeth are in perfect shape. I still cannot believe how very sketchy and dishonest the PPFD office is. Please be VERY, VERY careful here, and ALWAYS get a second opinion. I have seen several Doctors and Hygienists and they are all professional, skilled, caring and comforting (dentists I've seen in the past have had the tendency to come off as indifferent and sometimes even rude); so, this place is especially great just because of the fact that they make it easy to feel comfortable even if you may be nervous about dentistry in general. I was initially seen by both Mr. and Mrs. Doctor Chen, they are a husband and wife team, who I believe are the owners as well. Dr. Chen and Dr. Chen (lol) are phenomenal practitioners. Mr. Dr. Chen (I forget his first name) performed the extraction of my wisdom teeth which was nice because most general dentists don't have the capacity to do surgical procedures in house. That said, Cholla Family Dentistry does it all, including cosmetic & pediatric dentistry and even orthodontics. Basically, this is a one stop shop for all of your mouth & teeth needs. More recently I have seen Dr. Beischel for a few fillings and yet again, I have nothing but good things to say! He is great at what he does, he is very professional and I find him to be really personable and funny. Last but not least there is Debi - The Office Administrator & Receptionist who is the most pleasant and accommodating "front desk" person I have ever met in my life, hands down. This woman (as well as the rest of the office staff who I don't know by name) always go the extra mile for every patient; which is extremely important when considering that she handles billing and insurance to make sure my out of pocket costs are as low as they can possibly be. Plus, I had to reschedule an appointment several times recently (the 3rd time being the actual day of the appointment, about an hour prior because I was having car trouble) and she never once showed any sign of annoyance or made me feel guilty about it; she has been nothing but understanding and helpful with me. I work in administration and it is RARE to find offices with consistently polite and helpful staff that genuinely care about the patients, Cholla Family does. Most office staff only do the bare minimum while Cholla Family will go out of their way to ensure you receive the absolute best care that is still affordable. Cholla Family takes most insurance and will work with you to make treatment and payment plans that fit your budget. My entire family comes here and we recommend this Cholla Family to anyone who is looking for a good dentist, 10/5 stars, I will never go anywhere else!

I recently visited his office for a one-time second opinion after my corporate dental provider--where the staff changes frequently--told me I had a cavity. I was skeptical, as I've never had a cavity before, and something didn't sit right. Dr. Lernor took my concerns seriously. He reviewed my records and took the time to perform a full evaluation, including new X-rays that had been missing from my file. It turned out that what was diagnosed as a cavity was simply an area of dental coloration--completely harmless. His honest, thorough approach saved me from unnecessary treatment and gave me real peace of mind. Although my dental insurance unfortunately doesn't cover his practice--otherwise I would switch to him in a heartbeat--I plan to return to Dr. Lernor for any future second opinions, especially if I'm ever told something concerning again. He was not only knowledgeable and detailed, but also incredibly kind and patient. He even offered to put his findings and recommendations in writing so I can refer back to them anytime.
