No problem at Couvillion in Marinette MI. The two ladies that helped me were terrific. My glasses were tightened for me and now I can see properly plus they found me two beautiful frames that I would like to purchase in the near future. A green pair and a purple pair would be terrific. I am an artist and a retired DPS art teacher so they are just perfect for me. It is a very nice shop, very neat, clean and organized. You will be just fine if you visit there.

If you're looking for a cheap eye exam or getting a new prescription, Shopko Optical is a good…read moreplace to start as it takes many different insurances. However, if you're ordering glasses, be warned that the lenses may not be in frames when there ready for pickup... my wife and I both found this out this hard way when staff had to use the "try on" frames from the display shelves. And oh boy, about the exam: I went in this past January, complaining about a blur in my vision. They took a picture of my eye, said I had a floater caught in my retina, and to "give it a few months" to rectify itself, that it was no big deal. Late March / early April, the blur turned into a blob; went to the VA, only to find out my retina had fully detached. Was asked if Shopko dilated my eyes before the picture, because if they had, they would have seen (the retina) beginning to detect: Shopko had not. Was sent to Northeast Wisconsin Retina Associates, and that doctor asked and said the same thing. This surgery could have been prevented if the procedure was initially followed, these weeks of recovery and missed work could have been prevented if the optometrist had simply dilated the eyes to fully see what was going on. So yeah, two star rating: thanks for the affordable, yet erroneous, eye care and for the cheap yet missing frames... they'll come in handy now that I'm blind in one eye.

Wrong! Also the bill was sent to Medicare. It should have been paid by worker's comp. That's fraud. That's three out of three done wrong. I do have glaucoma so stay away if you care about your health.
