Overall, a respectful interaction, but the cost is something to be aware of.

We have been working with Shmuel ever since we first moved to New York. Six years ago, coming from…read morea different country, we had very little knowledge of taxes; in fact, we only knew that it should be done. Shmuel is a CPA we've found nearby, and we consulted with him on the subject. His wealth of knowledge and patience were evident enough to make us stick with him from that moment onwards, every year. His availability via phone and email is excellent, and no question has ever gone unanswered. Even when we moved from being simple W-2 clients to our own LLC, he walked us through the process and, to this day, continues to suggest steps to lower our tax liability and improve our financial situation. I highly suggest everyone on the fence at least pick up the phone to get the great first impression we had and tilt the scale.

I have been doing my taxes with him for a few years now and I haven't had any issues. You must book him in advance because he is very busy. One of the perks is that during tax season he works a full day on Saturdays which works great for me. Prices are average, don't expect to pay $100 to get your taxes done with Barry. He knows his stuff!

Josh picked me up as a last minute client in April of 2019 (a week before taxes were due!), when I was told my accountant of several years was no longer doing taxes. Since completing my 2018 taxes, he help me set up my LLC, breakdown my C-Corp, and apply for PPP loans. In March of 2020, Josh + his office sent out an email on a Saturday to all clients to go over what was covered under the CARES act- who was eligible for unemployment benefits, what loans were available for small businesses. I forwarded this email to my friends and they also found this information very helpful- their accountants didn't do this for them. It says a lot about what Josh and his team does for his clients. Josh and his team are much more than just "tax accountants"!

Our family's tax situation is complex, involving multiple states and various moving parts, yet Joe and his staff handled everything with exceptional professionalism and responsiveness. They are consistently easy to reach, quick to reply, and always courteous -- whether I'm contacting them by email, using their secure upload portal, or stopping by the office to drop something off. The client portal has been a great convenience for securely sharing documents from home or work, and the front office team is always friendly and organized. What has especially impressed me is how responsive they've been whenever I've received follow-up notices or adjustments from the IRS or from different states. Each time, they've stepped in quickly, explained what was happening, and resolved the issue efficiently. Having worked with two other CPA firms over the years, I can confidently say Joe stands out for his combination of responsiveness, accuracy, and value. His fees are very reasonable for the level of service and attention he provides, and it's clear he genuinely cares about his clients. I'm very pleased to have found him and look forward to continuing to work with him for many years to come.

Although this professional CPA is laid back, he is thorough and compassionate when it comes to planning, strategy and preparation. God Bless Joe Paldino and company.

I signed the corrected return; however, they submitted the original, incorrect version. This resulted in thousands of dollars being erroneously withdrawn from my account. They subsequently filed an amendment, but I was unable to recover the full amount from the IRS and state tax authority. Additionally, they assured me that no automatic payments had been set up. This proved to be false--a quarter later, my account was overdrawn due to automatic withdrawals they had failed to disclose. Throughout this process, they have continued to send emails soliciting further engagement and payment reminders, and their communication has been notably unprofessional. If you choose to work with this firm, I strongly advise reviewing all documents and filings thoroughly before and after submission to ensure accuracy.
