White young lady was very rude and disrespectful about what we can and can not buy. Limited us on fish to buy . It was 6:50 pm store closed at 7 . She was rushing us and be very aggressive about it . We made it in time to get fish and didn't get anything from being rushed out the store . Definitely wouldn't recommend this store . Most fish was floating at the top of tanks . Didn't caught her name but I'm assuming it was a manger white girl many piercings in her face . And a heavy self girl that worked in the fish department didn't know what we were talking about !! That's what wasted so much time she was walking back and forth to get Information on what we needed . Definitely was the employees fault to . I've called that number you provided , I'm assuming it was the same girl from last night , on the phone she didn't want to provide her name as I asked , very very unprofessional telling me that , next time I have to come in earlier to get more then one single fish! Sorry I work two jobs and can't come it there before you close. She was very rude and unprofessional with her job , as she had coworkers not knowing no information on fish and kept walking away to ask a team member what I asked her. Waiting for 20 minutes with no acknowledgment from staff. Booked an appointment online. Came in 15 minutes early to check in. Groomer checked in the pet that was waiting before me. He didn't acknowledge my presence, ask if I had an appointment or even say I'll be with you or someone will be with you shortly. Nothing. You guys need to replace all your staff even managers. I was one of the guys who came in last night to get fish around 6:40p.m. Customer service wasn't good at all the young ladies took there time helping us and decided to help other customers instead of helping us. Young lady working the fish department last night went to get the manager who came over rudely and rush us out the store. Then I call to talk to a manager to 3:28pm and I just explained to her what happened and she just told me next time come to the store early and I want have that problem then when I ask for her name she told me that wasn't necessary. Now I need cooperate number cause at this point this is bad business and people shouldn't go spend there money here. Work in customer service for over 10 years and someone came in our store 10mins or 15 mins before closing we had to take care of them. My husband insisted I give this location another try. I've returned 4 different times and am glad I did! I had a pleasant experience each time. They are redesigning the aquatics section. It is coming along and I can't wait until it's finished. One of the associates volunteers at the John G. Shedd Aquarium in Chicago and is very knowledgeable. He is starting a meet-up group and I plan to join. The Vetco clinic is nice and we decided to join the plan for the dogs. They even got shots there today. Yes, I can honestly say I now recommend this facility! What a difference! read more

Found out today they sell discus fish $39.99. They look pretty healthy too. Picking up some kulhi loaches $3.99. They have a pretty good selection of fresh and saltwater fish located in the center of the store. Staff is friendly...brought my puppy here for shots...they have low cost clinics,call for dates. This is the closet one to me so me and my dog Yoshi visit here quite often especially when he needs a hair cut. I've taken the puppy classes here about 2 years ago and the instructor was really good and helped Yoshi with the common commands. The place is clean, organized, and there is usually someone on the floor to help you. They have a wonderful collection of dog clothes for boys and girls. They also carry a variety of dog food and cat food. The grooming salon is really good and they always do a nice job on Yoshi. They have windows for you to see your dog being groomed, and they always give them a little bandana and perfume to wear. read more

When you take your dog to the groomers you can't wait to see them come back looking. This has not been the case with my recent visits. The visit prior to my last visit I had to return my dog so he could be cleaned up. They cleaned him up and his trim looked better. This last time was a pure hatchet job which you can see in the picture. My appointment was at one, my dog was not ready until after 6 pm. They called the wrong number after I specifically gave Dana the right number to call. Also Dana is responsible for this hatchet job on my dog. Karina the manager offered to fix it but I did not want them to touch my dog after they botched it so bad. I received a partial refund and a coupon from the store manager. However that is not enough to make me return. Receipt posted. read more

Workers have attitudes , manager on duty talked down to me in front of my young son. The ferret cage is full of feces and smells bad. The animals that were there looked very dirty and not cared well for. The parking lot is full of dog poop. They need to shut this store down. read more

The employees don't seem so enthused to actually help the customers! Especially, regarding the Fish area. There are times when I wait over 20 minutes just to SPEAK to an employee only to have them try to "Get help" and then never see anyone for another 5-10 minutes so I just leave. read more

I love my dog, but I freely admit he is nuts and has many little "personality ticks." As a result, I've done all of his grooming over the past eight years to save a third party the horror of having to deal with him. Last week, he rolled in something in my parents' backyard and I had no choice but to bring him to Petco to get groomed. Jennifer was wonderful and took the time to try to calm my little mental patient down before leading him back to be bathed. She was nice enough to pretend not to notice him shaking uncontrollably and knocking over her mouse at the check-in computer. Cooper looks great and survived his latest trauma. I am a regular customer at PETCO. I took my Yorkie Milan to get grooming appt today. I told Karon before I left that DIDN'T want Milan's facial hair cut short and to leave her a ponytail at the top. The ponytail was the only this Karon did right. She cut all of Milan's facial hair off. When she brought Milan out to me I told her right away that I didn't like it and the facial hair was too short. Her response was "she was moving/her hair was already short"! She walked away like she was going to continue to finish cutting the other dogs hair and she left me standing there. Then, she came back added that Milan's hair was cut too short in the notes. She wasn't trying to resolve it and wasn't apologetic AT ALL. I walked away extremely irritated and went to purchase dog food. The manager Stephanie found me and apologized and gave me a full refund. She was very nice and I really appreciated her customer care. But I won't be bring Milan back to PETCO. My dog hates her hair cut, she's not even happy! read more

My dog is allergic to everything we try to feed him, not to mention SUPER particular. (and maybe a little spoiled?) After looking all over for food we came to Petco and were very pleased with the selection of grain-free food we found at a fantastic price. We have been feeding our little precious pup for a month now and he is snarfing this stuff down. That is something that hasn't happed before! This is a pretty average pet store. I was disappointed with the selection on tortoise supplies, they seem to only carry a variety of turtle supplies. Every staff member I saw was texting or distracted but overall I'd go back since it's a convenient location for me. read more

Had my dog groomed at petco. Started off negatively when my scheduled appointment time and groomer who I'd chosen were changed without warning or explanation. My dog's skin is very sensitive and has allergies -- explained this to several groomers who were present and paid extra for sensitive shampoo. When I picked him up, he smells strongly of perfume -- clearly sensitive shampoo was not used-- or maybe they thought spritzing him with cologne was a good idea? Poor guy is very itchy now. His haircut is also amateur and uneven -- ridiculously short bordering on bald in many areas. Very pricy for sub-par grooming. Will not have my dog groomed here again. read more

I love this location! The employees are knowledgeable, friendly and eager to help. I have a variety of pets and I can always find what I need here. I recently decided to start a fish tank and Jeff in the aquatics department was extremely helpful. He really went above and beyond to ease my anxieties. My fish tank looks amazing and the fish seem really happy too! I also have brought my Shetland sheepdog to the grooming salon. They did an outstanding job! My Daisy came out smelling fresh, had super clean ears, and her nails were smooth. She even had cute bows and a bandana. I even adopted a male kitten about 6 weeks ago. He has been an absolute joy. Store has its ups and downs but ive seen it at worse times. I called on the phone to speak to someone in aquatics and they connected me with Tony i guess he was the manager of the department. I called for more knowledge about getting my saltwater tank started he was very helpful and eagered to help me get it started. Came in and no one was in the department but him. I feel this store is very short staffed and appearance is ok but workers dont seem happy. Another guy Name was i think John said he was the aquatic specialist took over to help but started bashing the manager Tony and other managers So i left with nothing. But returned to talk to Tony and get everything i needed i wont talk to any one but Tony. He was very helpful and a well educated man. I have seen this store worse but i had a bad experience / aurora from John but Tony made me feel welcomed even brung the store ipad to help me better my knowledge and find me items on the site that were cheaper then instore. read more
