Called about a walk-in appointment for nail trimming. They told me to be there at a specific time. I asked if I needed an appointment, was told no, that as long as I showed up at the time I would be seen. I showed up 15 minutes earlier and guess what? "We can't see you because you don't have an appointment, earliest we have is 3 days from now." In the meantime, my dog is stressed and whimpering. Then they tell me they can't see me because I needed my dogs rabies vaccination record. Hey, I get it, you have to comply with regulations. Wouldn't that be important to mention BEFORE I drove there with a dog having a panic attack? It does not take a PhD in law, education, Russian Lit, or anything of the sort. All it takes is: "Make sure you have an appointment and you bring the vaccination records with you, otherwise we will not be able to see you." There, I did the heavy lifting for you guys. It is $95 for a full haircut & bath for our standard size doodles and add a tip for your groomer. As a customer make sure the pet shop has your animals' vaccines especially rabies. We had taken our dog to get groomed yesterday, and it was not a good experience. Dalaney was not gentle with him, and she said that she cut it too short (my fiancée overheard her that she cut it too short by accident), but we were told that it was on purpose and she had to do so. Janet was understanding and let her manager know. Justin the manager called me and was pretty curt that nothing was wrong, and the groomer didn't lie to use about the true nature of the haircut being short. The spaw package was refunded, but we didn't get our full package refunded. I think that the groomer should have just been truthful and said she did it on accident but didn't do so. We hope that the manager will reconsider his approach to customer service. I hope that we not be attacked for this review. Just wasn't the experience we hoped for nor the response to our complaint. I have used Pet Supply Plus for grooming and have given the groomer a picture to follow. Each time I have been satisfied with the results. Last trip in I asked for a nail clipping and buff. I was distressed when my dog was brought to me and the groomer handed me a small packet of something that looked like sand. She said to use this if he started bleeding. I was confused and at a lost for word as I stared at the package. She explained that she had cut too close to the quick and it was bleeding. I left, very concerned for my dog and the pain he must be in. There was no bleeding; however, I did find that his other claws had not even been cut. I noticed the grooming sign that read "no experience necessary. Train here." I will not return to this grooming salon again. read more

We were having problems with our cats urinating on the floor. They didn't used to do it, just changed and we asked someone here about it. They recommended Dr. Elsy cat litter and adding another litter box. This did the trick and we haven't had any other issues. I have a dog with some severe seperation anxiety. I was leaving him at my moms for the night so I stopped in here to pick up some CBD treats. I had never used them before so the employee was talking to me about different brands and then even let me know I could return the item with a receipt of my pup didn't like it! I love Pet Supplies Plus - they're local, well-stocked, and really friendly and helpful when you're in store. My favorite part of the PSP experience is the self-service dog wash. You can buy a dog wash card that covers 5 washes for $25, or $5 a wash. You can also buy washes individually for $10. They bath includes a lifted tub, 4 shampoo options, towels, aprons, and a dryer. The Broad Ripple location has the dog wash stations but I find that they tend to be a little dirtier than the PSP wash stations at the other PSP location I frequent. The last time we were there it was clear that the stations had not been cleaned between guests and my partner had to de-clog the drain below our station by hand after the water backed up our dogs legs, and then up our shoes. It was super gross but our dog was half soapy so we didn't really have the option to leave or do something else. Hopefully that was just a busy day but they'd get the 5th star if they better maintained that area of the shop. read more

They treat those kids like any other customer - they listen and answer. I bring my two dogs there for the self-wash service. If you join the rewards program (free to join), you can purchase 5 washes for $25. That's the best deal I have found. Even without that deal, this is the place I would suggest for the self-wash. There are four wash tubs, many choices for shampoos, excellent hair dryers, plenty of room, and the kicker - they have the best drying towels. The towels are like a shami - super absorbent. They have an extensive line of pet food, toys, and everything needed for your pet (well for my dogs, it looks like a lot for other pets, but I have not really taken stock of other pet types). Worst experience ever with a retailer of any kind! I had a standing auto-ship order for 3 items well over $100. day before auto-ship I check the website and it says that they are putting the order together. The day the shipment is suposed to arrive I notice a refund for my order, that was a real surprise because I'm expecting dog food, cat food and some kitty litter. So I call the store and speak to Justin that would not give me his last name. When I ask why my order is cancelled he explains that the dog food was not in stock. I ask the logical questions of [a] why do you have auto-ship and then not have the item in stock, what's the point [b] why didn't anyone notify my, I would have accepted a substitution. He started getting snippy with me and askied me to lower my voice when it was very much at a reasonable tone. So Iowered my voice to just abovewhisper and asked again. Then I told him that Chewy would never do this, b ut I was trying tpo keep my money local. He promptly told me to take my business to Chewy. i git pissed and told him where to go. Minutes later I called back to determine his last name so I could advise the owners of the company. At this point he threatened to have me put in jail if I ever called or step foot in "his" store. Wow, what a world class jerk! I'm left with no dog food, no cat food, no kitty litter and memories of a close encounter with the biggest store manager jerk in my 60 years of existence!
