I never leave the house unless my boyfriend is home because my dog has separation anxiety and destroys the house. The new dog has grown severely attached to me, I assume from whatever trauma he faced on the streets. The new one is not crate trained and screams and soils himself if you put him in one. I have a lot of medical conditions that I used to have to cancel appointments for if I my boyfriend was out of town for work. They allow the dogs to rest around lunch when at daycare. Very affordable and we love they always remember our pup and are happy to see our guy. You feel like a family member not just a $$$. I love that they let the dogs be dogs. It's just a great place! P.S. We tried a couple other places in Wilmington and it wasn't a good fit. Over priced and snooty people = not a good fit! David did an exceptional job with our pets and home. He sent me texts and photos daily. I don't normally write reviews, but I feel this experience needs to be shared. I recently started…read morebringing my 7 month old puppy to daycare. Like most puppies, he's full of energy and excited to play. He was scheduled for a half day with a bath before pickup, but due to a change in my schedule, I called around noon to request that he stay for a full day. The staff member I spoke with asked if I wanted him to go back outside with the other dogs or be placed in a separate room to avoid getting dirty again. I clearly stated that I wanted him to return to daycare for more playtime, and that I didn't mind if he got dirty. However, when my boyfriend picked him up, we learned that he had instead been left alone in a room for nearly six hours without going outside or having access go to the bathroom. This is extremely concerning. Not only was my request disregarded, but my puppy was also neglected during his time there. Like many dog owners, my puppy is a beloved part of my family, and I trusted this facility to provide safe care. Unfortunately, that trust was broken. I hope this feedback encourages the staff to take better accountability moving forward, so that no other pet has to experience the same.
