I I could not afford to pay an excessive amount due to recent costly medical treatments of my own! Treatments that max stood right by me through every single day! After many many quotes Dr Scott's office said the cost would be $200 plus tax, which was fair given the number of quotes we received. My friend raised money to help max and we were quoted from $168 (Free home) to $400 just for the euthanasia! So I knew what to expect and felt confident the $200 quote given to me by Cassie was fair! Well I was scammed by this office with a bait and switch! The quote Cassie gave me to put max down was out the door and Dr Scott refused to honor it! He stood arguing with me there while my dog was in the other room and I was a mess having the weight of putting down my best friend! I am sick to my stomach that I brought my baby here to this greedy Vet who could care less about Max or myself! I paid this office but just know Iwill be on the news about this! I have every note and Cassie even put me on hold two times while we were on the phone!

With recovery we were able to enjoy time with our girl for 5 more years. We owe so much to Dr M. I read the few 1 star reviews and think they are extremely unfair. Both reviews start saying that the doctors are "great" and "amazing" but they have an issue with the front desk or cost of meds. Where are these people's 5 star reviews of these doctors they call amazing and great? They are quick to throw out 1 star for other reasons but don't have the time of day to appreciate these vets.

5 stars for the Vets and the vet techs! Minus 1 star for the front desk staff…read more I moved from Buckhead to the Canton area and was worried about finding a great vet for my dogs. I chose Dr. Partin because she practices both eastern/western medicine and is a holistic vet. One of my dogs (Lexie) has pain in her hip and legs due to arthritis and was refusing to walk or get up often. After seeing Dr. Partin, Lexie is smiling and running/playing again. We are so thankful we found Dr. Partin. Today, I had to visit Hickory Flat again for my other dog, Lillie. I asked for whoever was available today since I will be out of town for a week and wanted to make sure Lillie was okay before I left. I'm glad they could fit us in last minute and I ended up seeing Dr. Lindner. Dr. Lindner is very sweet! The vets and vet techs here are all great. Super helpful and they listen to your concerns without feeling rushed. However... The first few times, I didn't have an issue, but today, I had a very rude lady check me out. Short blonde hair, round face. Long story short, I had medicine that Lexie couldn't use because she had a bad reaction to it so the vet said I could bring it back next time for account credit. Before I went to the vet today, I called to confirm if it was okay to use Lexie's credit for Lillie's visit. The receptionist on the phone said it wasn't a problem and that I could do so. Well, today while checking out, there was a short blonde haired, round lady that gave me attitude about it and while I was still talking (mentioning that it was in the patient's notes), she left to get up to talk to the people in the back. I wasn't even done talking! So Rude. Not once did she say, "Let me check or give me one second". She literally just stomped off to the back and then stomped back to the front, gave me the credit and told me the amount I owed. No smiling, no apology, nothing. Just a straight face. There was no need to be rude. The lack of communication skills was super unprofessional. Again, I've never had issues with the other staff members before. Just this one particular person at the front desk.

As a result, I felt compelled to update my review to not discourage people from trying Champ Bow Wow. The main disappointment boiled down to not being notified of the situation promptly. The owner ensured that training and procedures would be held to a higher standard moving forward. I understand that dogs can get into scuffles at any time, so in fairness, I think 3 stars is reasonable with the outcome, as well as informing future patrons of ANY boarding/day care facility to take pictures of their baby before leaving them and check their convenient Doggy-Cam.
