I first brought my 8 year old Shih Tzu to see Dr. Diehl in November of 2025 for a routine annual exam. I was charged for a senior blood panel but I wasn't notified of the results. They also did not send any urine sample in with the blood work which was requested on the test results. I did not think anything about it until my I brought my dog back in January for an upset stomach. My dog was curling up like his stomach was hurting and I provided a video to the vet tech which she showed to Dr. Diehl. They took my dog in the back room and then Dr. Diehl came back and told me that she did an ultrasound on him and it appeared that he has a tumor or some type of blood clot in his stomach. She indicated that she could not know for sure what it was but she recommended that I remove his spleen and it would cost $2,500.00. No images or notes in writing just the verbal recommendation. I paid for pain medication that my dog did not use and I left her office in SHOCK! I called back the next day and asked if I could get notes from the office visit showing her recommendations but only received an invoice for the office visit. I called back a second time and told the receptionist that I was getting a second opinion and need the notes from the office visit and I still did not get anything! I went for a second opinion and had to pay over $700 for an ultrasound and X-rays to find out that my dog does not have a tumor and his spleen is fine! He has a slightly enlarged liver and will need to take long term medication. I JUST WANT TO WARN ANY NEW CLIENTS TO ASK QUESTIONS AND REQUEST PROOF. I did not mention that I also took my son's 5 year old Boston Terrier to her in November 2025 for an annual exam on the same day with my Shih Tzu and she told us she needed to have 2 teeth pulled because it was going to infect her root canal, leading to an infection and facial abscesses. ALSO NO PROOF OR IMAGES TO SHOW THAT THE CRACKED TOOTH WAS INFECTED. Dr. Diehl did however show me 2 pictures from her cell phone showing the cracked back teeth. We paid for the surgery but I should have asked for more proof or get another 2nd opinion. THAT WAS A BIG RED FLAG BUT I USUALLY TRUST THE VETS ADVICE UNTIL NOW! BE AWARE AND ASK ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR DOGS HAVE ROUTINE WELLNESS CHECKS WITH NO PRIOR HEALTH ISSUES.

Ok cool, didn't even mention how much, whatever. Then i pick her up AT 5PM, somehow they needed 6 HOURS to take care of a tiny cat, I've never in her 2yrs getting haircuts have to put her to sleep. Now my baby is wobbly around for the next 12hrs with a FUCKED UP haircut for $289, idc about spending on my baby but WTF, this was INSANE. On top of that, NO BATH. She came out as dirty and hairy and she went in. I'm extremely frustrated & disappointed. Very lovely staff but the prices are unfair.

We have been going to this vet office for years and it was always a pleasant experience. Even on…read morethe toughest visits - like putting a beloved animal down, they were warm and caring. Sadly this is not the case any longer. There is a palpable difference now that hits you upon entering. Gone are the warm smiles of the staff who often knew your pets name and in their place now exists a cold, almost annoyed reception usually reserved for DMV appointments. The Doctors now also seem very mechanical. We just had the painful experience of losing our second dog but this time around there was no warmth or understanding from the folks here; I received more warmth from patrons in the waiting room. I don't know if this is a new ownership, steward or management issue but the atmosphere shift is very noticeable. We have switched vets. Oh and to boot we have not received a single word or note of condolences from them regarding our loss. They know our pet passed. Apparently they don't care. Never stepping foot in there again.

I asked her (the employee) what she recommends that I switch my dog onto. She told me that she recommends Fromm. I asked her which variety that I should go with and she told me that the Salmon Tunalini is the one that her Fromm purchasers usually purchase and feed. So, I went with the Salmon Tunalini. I purchased the small/medium sized bag for $14. When I fed my dog her first helping, she ate all of it and licked her bowl clean. There was not a single crumb left in her own bowl. That is how I knew she loved it so much. So, now I come back here to pick up a small/medium size bag of it whenever I run our. Now, every time that I come the employee always knows exactly what food and bag size that I need and purchase. She always grabs one off the shelf for me whenever I go there to purchase and it up. The store is very nice. I also do occasionally pick up a bully stick there sometimes as well. I also like the fact that this Red Bandanna is just right down the road from where I live. This makes it absolutely convenient for me to pick up my dog's new dog food whenever I need more of it. This truly is my dog food supplier. I simply will not get my dog's own dog food anywhere else. This place has affordable prices on organic dog food that I just love. You will not find Purina, Eukanuba, Iams, Science Diet, Kibbles n Bits, or Bill Jack here. They only sell and focus on grain free and organic dog food. This is another reason why I love Red Bandanna.
