It is still difficult to write this since it hasn't been two months since my sweet Lily passed away. She had been diagnosed with cancer in early October and passed the weekend before Thanksgiving of last year. I woke up to find she had passed peacefully in her sleep. I was frantic because I was in shock and didn't know what steps to take next. Luckily, one of my besties recommended Pet Passages. I elected to bring her to the facility instead of having them pick her up because I wanted to be with her every step of the way. RJ was so kind and caring when we dropped Lily off. He gave us time to say our goodbyes before leaving her. I was able to schedule viewing her cremation as my final goodbye and returned that following Monday. Pet Passages made a paw print impression, cut a lock of her fur, and placed her ashes in a velvet pouch. My heart is forever broken but I am grateful to RJ and Pet Passages for honoring Lily with dignity and care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This place is so special. The space is clean, you have privacy, and the care they put into everything is unmatched. I had put flowers and a crystal in with my cat without any expectations of what they would do with it. When I picked up his ashes we were informed that all of it went in with him which touched my heart. We received his wooden box with an engraved name plate, his paw print, and a packet of wild flower seeds which again, touched my heart. His ashes came in a beautiful velvet bag, which was also engraved. "Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge". So beautiful. It is very clear that my boy was in the best possible hands. I cannot thank Pet Passages enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I would give 100 stars if I could.

10,000% Recommend. RJ was very kind and welcoming when we brought our pet to be put to rest. Their prices are pretty competitive compared to others we contacted and they had the absolute BEST reviews so we are glad we chose Pet Passages. It is a very clean, welcoming place. They have tons of options and tons of urns/boxes to choose from. We have 10 other dogs because we used to be pet fosters for pets with health issues but ended up giving in and giving them a furever home. They do an amazing job taking care of your furbabies and are very quick. We will definitely go back here when any of our other pets pass.

RJ is so compassionate. He helped us when we lost our Vinny and most recently our Hildi. Pet Passages make it so affordable to have your loving pet who has crossed over the rainbow bridge cremated also very affordable urns. RJ helped us through everything. It's hard loosing your loved one, but easy to have them help you! Thank you for everything!

Truly a place where pets matter and are treated like family...the worst day I have had in a very long time was eased when I met RJ. I had just come from our Vet of manner years who eased Champ's pain. Rj told me it would be a couple days and he would call. He called as promised and I went to get Champ to bring him home, everything was just as RJ said. Today i am going to plant the seed of his remembrance in a quiet place in the back yard. I am confident that I could not have made a better selection of a place to offer the services they do. Above and beyond for sure. Thanks again.

Standard private cremation and fur clipping.

For those that find themselves making the gut-wrenching decision to humanely euthanize and cremate a beloved pet, I encourage you to consider your options. Many places for euthanasia will have a partnered crematorium but you have a choice. I personally chose Pet Passages because of location to me, previous reviews and because I was able to make these decisions from home at any hour online. I chose a private cremation to ensure that only my pet's remains were returned to me but they have a great process to do a semi-private cremation if it fits your needs. The facility is clean, calm and caring focusing on your needs. Should we be in the same scenario, and we probably will as we are meant to outlive our furry family members, we will use Pet Passages again. I highly recommend.

You see over to the right of this page... the hours this place is open? No, they aren't. You can…read morecall them and you will get a voice message that they are busy with a family. No, they aren't. I know this because I've been out there when they are 'open' and I've called looking into the lonely office window but let's move on, shall we? You see that website above? It will tell you how beautiful this place is. I've got pics. The website is also 'under construction.' I've had seven animals cremated over the years.. three of them here. A few years ago, I noticed the place was kinda going downhill but I just figured the Fosters were working on it. I was wrong. Dead wrong and no pun intended. I have no idea how much overhead a pet cemetery has but I'm thinking it can't be much. I told Travis (the guy filling out the paperwork) exactly that when I made the mention that this place was really looking like shit and he agreed. Anyway, I provide a debit card and I'm told that the phone is no longer working in the office ('the phone doesn't work out here anymore; I'll have to run up to the house to run your card'). I'm also told that the cost for the cremation of my pet is $160. They go by weight. I question that and Travis looks at the price list and tells me that that is indeed the correct price. Privately, I thought it had gone up a bit. Travis goes to the house and I look at the price guide and of course, the price quoted is not what is on the list. When Travis comes back from the 'house', I tell him I have a question about the price. He picks up the list and tells me that it is 'old and needs to be updated so we just add $30 to each price on here.' I see. So what do we have? A decrepit, ugly ass cemetery; a fence keeping nobody out, an office with a nonworking phone; a website that is 'under construction' filled with lies, an outdated, laminated price sheet that the poor Fosters can't afford to retype and laminate and a parking space that fills with water when it rains which has resulted in my shoes airing out in front of a fan as I type this. As I'm leaving the office, I note 6 white bags with cremated pets in them waiting for their parents to pick them up. Those six bags contain pure profit for this place, old price sheet or not. Here's some financial advice: Those white bags can be bought in bulk from China. You can get a landline through Magic Jack for $44 every THREE years. The place has been under the same ownership for 48 years so I'm thinking it must be paid for by now. Obviously, that is not true due to the above cuts so you might want to check out another financial institution with better rates. This place reeks of greed and it's a damn shame. This place could be so nice. I feel confident that the parents who placed their pets in the Fosters' care weren't counting on the squalor that this place has become. 'Nuf said.

This was our first time ever leaving our 4 dogs so to say I was nervous was an understatement. The Pocono Pet Nanny's Bed and Biscuit is probably one of the nicest and cleanest places I have ever seen. There are several themed rooms along with beds, TVs and music playing. There is a fenced in area that the dogs can go out to run and do their "business" which worked out well for my dogs since they are used to a fenced backyard. The check in process was great. Jan is very organized and takes lots of notes on each dog. She allowed me to bring in our dogs' bedding, crates and bowls which was fantastic because our dogs were so used to their own things. I will admit I was crying when I left the dogs  but knew I made the BEST decision leaving them with her. Throughout my trip I received texts and pictures updating me on each of my dogs. Never once did I question if my dogs were okay: I knew they were in the best of hands!  Thanks to Jan and her staff, my family and I were able to enjoy our first trip ever. I had such peace of mind! Prior to booking our dogs' stay, Jan was great at communicating with us and never hesitated to answer my (many, many) questions. I was a bit nervous because our one dog is very food aggressive. Jan had no problem taking him in and even fed him in a separate area. She and her staff are "pet people" and truly have love and compassion for animals. Our family never traveled because we did not want to leave our dogs, but I have a feeling our visit with the Pocono Pet Nanny might change things for us. We highly recommend Jan (Pocono Pet Nanny) and will use her again in the future. Thank you Jan and your amazing staff for a job well done!! We can't thank you enough!! Thank you!
