All well and good. My pooch arrived safely on the other side (Chicago) - so when its all said and done, Pet Air UK did what it says on the tin. They shipped the dog. She made it alive. Paws up. I paid for the gold package which included transport from our home in Central London, vet certification, 1 night pre-board the night before in their kennel near Heathrow, crate, delivery to airline/check-in, airline ticket. This was about £1600, most of which goes to the airline ticket, frankly! Everyone I spoke with our interacted with was pleasant and professional. Darren Stratton in particular (my agent after I paid the deposit) and the guy that picked the old girl up were very nice. My only small complaint is that after all that money, and purchasing the highest package possible -- NO ONE confirmed that she made it safely to Chicago and all was well.
