I made the appointment the day before my husband took our dog. They were told what we wanted done…read more My husband took our dog the next morning and repeated what we wanted done. Our dog is an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix, which means he has long hair in certain places. My husband went back to pick up our dog and she did not follow what we wanted to have done. She butchered our dog. Cutting the hair behind his legs which is supposed to be long. Cutting his facial hair which was not supposed to be touched. Basically she cut all of his hair making him not look like the breed he is. He doesn't look like our dog. Then after my husband put a bad review up she called him crying using her deceased husband and that she has doing this for many years as an excuse. If you can't do what the customer asks and butcher their beloved family member you should not be in business Edit: If I could figure out how to post pictures I would. There is a very big difference when you cut his border Collie look off of my dog. So butcher is the right word

He has been the best dog I've ever had. Couldn't ask for a better temperament. I just wanted to let you know the results from his exam and bloodwork. His vet says all his joints are in great shape, and he has a really nice low resting heart rate. She also says he has a remarkable set of lab results. Everything was perfect and in fact, impressive for an older dog, more like a dog half his age. I really just wanted to let you know how great he is doing and that we appreciate all the hard work you put into raising healthy dogs. FYI, we did get a second puppy from you when Molly and Noah were bred again. She's doing awesome also. Thanks!!

My family and I have been customers of Penny for years; she has groomed many of our dogs, and we…read moreare always impressed. She and her assistant always do an outstanding job! Our dogs are always groomed well and smell great when we pick them up from Penny's Pet Palace! I currently own a Yorkshire Terrier, and when Penny cuts her hair, trims her nails, and bathes her it only costs me $35 (before the tip, of course). I feel this is very reasonable, especially considering how conveniently located and flexible Penny is. There have been multiple times when I have called and Penny was able to get my pup in within the same week. Another thing I love is how I can drop off around 7am and do not have to worry about leaving work to pick my dog up in the middle of the day; Penny is always willing to hold onto her until I get off work around 3:30pm. This goes to show how flexible this place is and how much their customers, both human and animal, are valued! As a whole, I highly recommend Penny's Pet Palace when searching for a pet groomer! (...or a boarder because she offers that, too!!)

They have all sorts of items for sale for dog and cat lovers. There are animal coasters, pet clothing, baked pet treats, many different animal breed socks and pjs for the human owners. It would be a great place to go gift shopping for your favorite pet owner. Service was friendly and helpful. Prices were a bit high but they usually are in that type of store and I noticed a sign that said they donate a portion of proceeds to their local animal shelter which is good to know.
