The lady that gave the tour promised discounts that she couldn't back up, and her boss went against it. So, we refused to pay the $8000+ monthly fee to move our family member there. Had she known that promises wouldn't be kept, she wouldn't have even wasted her time because their amount is way out of my price range. The set up is cute though. They have a little "town" set up throughout the building for the people who live there to possibly help in jogging their past memories or just make them feel comfortable. The bedrooms are a decent size. My loved one doesn't need much space. They seem to keep the building tidy and organized. I can't speak for much else. We had to keep searching for a facility that could protect my loved one with dementia 24/7 at a more reasonable price.

Westmont is Blatantly Disrespectful to Musicians, Freelancers, and the Local Community…read more If you're a musician, educator, or otherwise provide freelance services, I encourage you to avoid Westmont -- my bands and associated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization just had an absolutely terrible experience with them, and we're not alone. Westmont contacted us to perform there back in June. We did, and their residents and staff seemed to really enjoy it. We had a written agreement with Westmont to provide a donation to our non-profit in exchange for us playing the gig (in which our proceeds have directly supported local schools in their same zip code, which they were aware of). After the gig, Westmont came up with a series of excuses of why payment was delayed, then refused to answer all of our emails and phone calls for over 5 weeks. We were professional and courteous the entire time. We then got our legal counsel involved and magically Westmont started responding to them immediately. We finally got paid over 2.5 months after we played the gig, but with no explanation as to the delay. Searching 1 star Google reviews of Westmont uncovered a review by Josh Pachter (https://g.co/kgs/8y9FyPE) -- he taught a series of 12 classes at Westmont in 2023, and had to fight them for months to get paid. Lessons learned are to thoroughly read reviews of the venue prior to playing there, and insist on getting paid at the gig. Please share this message with anyone you think might benefit from it.

Before I had my baby she recommended some resources which I have since gifted to expecting moms because they were so good and helpful. I think the biggest thing Hannah provided was confidence with breastfeeding, sleep and night and naps and created a no judgement zone but respected what was important to me and I think helped my husband and I get on the same page in regards to different ideals that I had. In my opinion working with Hannah as your postpartum doula is one of the best decisions you can make for your postpartum self and family!

With my first, despite support from grandparents and my husband, my self-care was pretty lacking. I muddled through but once I came out the other side and really understood what the fourth trimester was like, I promised myself that next time I'd do things differently. Hannah's time with me was the push I needed to actually do those self-care things. She helped me prepare baths and steams, brought me teas and infusions, was my partner in stretching and yoga, and went on slow healing walks with me. When mastitis struck in the third week, Hannah was there with advice, support, and remedies. With her help, I was able to reverse the infection quickly. While I was a second time mom, Hannah still introduced me to many new forms of postnatal care and was a wonderful sounding board and source of wisdom. In addition to being knowledgeable, punctual, and proactive, Hannah is warm, understanding, and good-humored. I thoroughly enjoyed having her in my home and looked forward to her help each week. I wholeheartedly recommend her as a postpartum doula.

The associates really knew their stuff, they explained how everything worked, answered my questions without making me feel rushed, and made the whole thing way less intimidating than I expected.
