Mini golf is always fun. The jokes are maintained and there is shade throughout which was nice! $10 each or can do a combo with the cave , maze etc. touristy and clean a fun way to spend an hour or 2

This PIB tourist attraction has a lot of kid-friendly thing to offer. Buy the bundle package and make it worth your $$. Sign up for the 20 min cave tour. Its led by teenage kids who do know some cool facts and have some cheesy jokes. It's not gunna wow your pants off but it is an appropriate tour for little tikes. It's a bit slippery and has low ceilings inside so just be wear. You might also get dripped on too. Butterfly House- The butterfly greenhouse was lovely. All the butterflies are flown in from Malaysia! They don't breed them on site. The butterflies don't live more than 2 weeks. You can stay as long as you like and it is a very peaceful and fun place to enjoy. Sit a while and you a likely to have a butterfly land on your knee or shoulder. Put-put golf, the course is classic, sometimes a bit crowded but fun. It's likely you will lose your ball in the river but it's all in good fun. Some holes are harder than others but it's enjoyable. Bring water if you don't want to pay for over prices water on site. Antique car barn- this is very interesting. They have all these classic 1915-1930's cars parked all together in reasonable shape to see and take pictures with. It's a short visit but interesting as it's so close to all these other little. They also have gem mining and a maze for kids but I didn't do those things.

I hate this place. When they were re-doing their asphalt, it was super wet and there was one "wet floor" sign tipped over by it. No "wet asphalt" sign, no "keep off" sign. Just a couple trash cans tipped upside down keeping cars off. I rode into it on my bike not knowing and turned out of it, and hit the ground so hard my knees are burned and bruised all over. And the asphalt dried into my wound. Thank you Perry's cave for ruining my ability to even walk for a few days.

Don't expect to be bedazzled and you'll be fine. Our group did the miniature golf, butterfly house, maze and cave. There is also rock climbing and some antique cars on display. My kids loved the butterfly house and the maze the most. It's a good fun way to spend a day on Put in Bay especially if you have a group of kids with you. If you are a group of adults, I would just avoid this place and head to one of the wine tastings instead ;)

Quite a bit of investment has been made in 2017 on Perry's Cave. With the addition of a rock wall, a further build out of the maze, and a historical vehicle display-there's something for everyone. If you choose to play putt putt or sluice for gems, families and adults will be fully entertained here now. The owners have done a good job adding to the quality options of things to do on the island.

I only did the miniature golf during my visit to Perry's, but it was a lot of fun and seemed like a nice place to bring the kids. I would like to visit the cave next time. Mini golf was a little high at $8 per person. Enjoyed the course but it was very typical mini golf. Nothing too exciting. It would have been nice if they offered a place to buy something to drink, as the only option was a few vending machines out by the bathrooms. It was 90 degrees on the summer day I visited, and I just wanted some water. We spent about $12 extra just buying overpriced bottles of water from vending machines.

I have been visiting PIB since I was a child and had never been to Perry's Cave. Obviously it was time for me to check it out. In all my travels, I had never been in a cave before so I thought this was interesting. Of course I knew this wasn't going to be Mammoth Cave or anything like that but it was a pretty cool to check out and our tour guide was really informative. The tour was quick but I felt like it was worth the cost. But again, this was my first cave and I know that for $8 I could probably do better. *wink* Tall folks beware, you will spend 80% of the tour hunched over but there is no crawling around, just walking. At 5'2," I was mostly standing. We also checked out the Butterfly House. I recommend this if you are into looking at butterflies. I can't recall how many different species they have but there are hundreds of butterflies flying around. I was able to get some cool photos. Very peaceful. Also a huge gift shop that is very nice. We scoped out the antique car collection as well. The collection includes an old snowmobile and the island's oldest car. The car collection is housed in a small barn and won't take you long to peruse. You can also play miniature golf, laser tag, do some rock climbing and gemstone mining. Most of the activities run $8/each and honestly none of them are worth that but what can you do? We actually purchased a $60 pass at the Jet Express that included round trip Jet Express fare, Perry's Cave, Butterfly House, Heineman's Winery, miniature golf, and a few other attractions. Only worth it if you actually do the included attractions.

We visited during the week and got tickets for the Butterfly House and rock wall. My kids are 12 & 16 and they loved the butterflies! Lots of active butterflies, you can also view the caterpillars in stages of transformation. It is a greenhouse so gets warm inside, you can go in as many times as you would like during the day with your stamp. Reasonable price for an attraction at the bay, there is a BOGO coupon if you rent a golf cart from the location nearest to the Miller Ferry. There is also a discount if you tickets for 3 or more of the activities they have available. Nice activity and would go back.

The only downside is I wish they had more peanuts theming and the peanuts show. They do the meet and greet which is great. We did ended up staying at the Cedar Point Express Hotel which is 5 minutes drive away. I wish they did have a path way for guests to walk, but that would be difficult the way the roads are setup. We arrive usually an hour before the park opens at 8am. There is a perk for Prestige and Gold Pass holders that you can get into the park 1 hour early. Parking lot is open 24/7 as we tend to head to the park early at around 8am to wait in line. Then at 8:40am, security comes in and opens up the line and then proceed to wait at the gate. Prestige holders pass line is on the way right side. Sometimes they have only 1 operator and sometimes 2. At 8:55am they usually let people in and during the national anthem. I wish they would let people in after as I want to stop and salute the flag, but that means I can not get into line quickly. The rides they have opened early were 1. Millennium Force (This one was closed on 3 of my visits) this is one of my favorite rides 2. Top Thrill 2 3. Gatekeeper 4. Siren's Curse I usually headed towards Siren's Curse first as that is usually a walk on and they have lockers to use for free and then head to Top Thrill 2 and then the hour is up. I did not ride Top Thrill 2 last time. For Top Thrill 2, you need to get a locker as you can not have anything in your pockets. They have an app you can use and the only thing is you have to remember the locker number and after waiting in line you might forget. Waiting in line for Top Thrill 2 can be boring as you see the same commercials and pick which car wins or find the trophy. I wish they had cartoons like they have at Six Flags. Top Thrill 2 the ride does break down quite a bit. Usually the downtime is 30 minutes to an hour. I waited 2 hours one time to ride. Here is my advice ride this during the early time as fast lane riders can not ride. They tend to do one for fast lane to let people ride and another train for regular queue. Besides the 2 rides, the park has not changed much over the 2 years. The food is the same, but I do like they have more soda fountains. Steel Vengeance line tends to be much shorter now. I remember waiting 90 minutes to do a ride, but now I only wait 30 minutes and I was able to ride this ride multiple times during the day and made a lot of fun. Once I got off the ride, I just went back in line without retrieving my items and was able to do this for an hour. Maverick tends to have a very long line and I only waited in the queue one time. But expect to have 90 minutes. The park only has 1 water ride and that is Thunder Canyon which is in the back of the park and will get you soaked. I ended up riding this 4 to 5 times per visit as the wait time were only 10 minutes. You can go bare footed if you want. They go rid of the other water ride. Hopefully in the future Cedar Point can get another water ride. Food wise I still like going to the Farm house near Maverick and the Beach Pavilion in were Wicked Twister used to be. The fast lane did work for us. The only challenge is the ability to use it on Top Thrill 2 as you need to get a locker. I wonder if you can use it. My wife said the watch might work or get a paper printer of the QR code of the pass might work. I will probably try it next time. If I have to change the park, this is what I would do. Get rid of the kiddy kingdom in front of the park as I believe it is doing nothing much. I see the place is not busy and really dead. Looks like a bunch of carnival rides. Redo the bathrooms near the arcade, they are old and outdated. Have another water ride and have more shade within especially with Siren's Curse. I never waited in the regular queue, but Overall, I had an enjoyable experience here. and still my favorite theme park.

The life guards were very attentive. We got the upgraded Deluxe Cabana and it turned out to be a great idea when an impromptu rainstorm rolled in. It included some really nice, embroidered towels as souvenirs. The food choices were sparse and exorbitantly expensive, just like inside Cedar Point, but getting the food pass at Shores would limit you mostly to pizza, Cuban sandwich, and a taco. Several of the slides were out of commission which is really the reason for the 3/5 score here.

So, if you either live close by or you have purchases a season pass for the year, this is a great place to come and cool off for the summer. I could see living nearby and buying a pass every year if I had small kids or a group of friends to hang out with, especially when the season pass is $99. Then coming here even twice would pay for itself. Since for the first time ever, we have a season pass, I would like to come back and relax at least one more time. But, if you are just coming here for the day without a season pass, it is not worth it at all. Everything is very old and not well taken care of. Everything is also covered in bird poop, and I literally mean everything. You could have thought they would have cleaned up for opening day, but nope! And you would have thought the rain would have gotten the poop off of literally every surface, but nope. This is a tiny place for the money compared to other waterparks that ask for similar entry fees. The prices for the food is high and when you ask the workers questions they do not even know the answers. I asked where the changing room was to get in and out of bathing suits, they did not know. Plus the lockers are not even near the changing rooms at all. Not very convenient to a point where a worker agreed it was not set up in a customer friendly manner. A lot of the rides were breaking or not open. The lazy river was slimy and very dirty. The entire place was a bit dirty, and again, it was opening day. f Plus there were a million bugs. I think I ate 15 just trying to climb up a slide with my poop covered tube. Then I flipped at the bottom of a slide and went under, and the lifeguard just watched me. I have been to many other places nearby. If you have the money, I would recommend just going to Kalahari if you want a waterpark. I liked Great Wolf and even Castaway Bay better. If you have a lot of money, I would recommend Volcano Bay or the Disney World Orlando waterparks over this one.

The price for a family suit on a Wednesday with 4 passes to the water park is very reasonable. Upon arrival check in was simple and went pretty quickly. You are allowed to start your fun before the room is ready, which is good because the waterpark closes at 8 and opens at 10 am. You can also continue to play after check out. We found this very nice because you wouldn't get much time to play if not. Our room was ready early but our bands didn't open our room so they gave us new ones. The girls working were friendly and helped us sort it out quickly. We were disappointed to find hair in both of our beds. We called and requested fresh bedding because we wanted to get playing. They never came but they did give us a new room, also with hair on the sheets. Our cleaning person came in and we watched her replace the pillowcases with clean right off the cart and guess what? Still hair! This is a laundry issue but we were relieved to know it wasn't because our beds were dirty. This was our only negative issue. Our room was clean and spacious. The pull out sofa wasn't the most comfy but we were so wore out we slept well. The Waterpark wasn't very crowded and it was very fun for our boys! My grandson said he felt like a VIP and they will both remember this fun time. The workers keep a very good eye on things. We felt safe. There's a Dunkin Donuts in the lobby and you can order on an app which I recommend because I ordered at the kiosk and waited 30 mins for 2 coffees. ($9) I would recommend ordering ahead and pick it up when you get a text to save waiting too long. We brought in snacks and drinks to our room. We had a fridge but no microwave. The kiosk check in process was a breeze, and I LOVE that water park wristbands double as room keys because it's one less thing to worry about losing. The onsite Dunkin offered good food at reasonable prices. The drinks were really good and felt like they justified their price because they were huge. The hotel rooms were very nice. The arcade was nice, and provided a good variety of games. The bad: Paying for parking is a huge turn-off. It's $20 per day just to park in an ordinary parking lot, which seems like an excessive charge that the resort knows it can get away with because people have to park. Strategies like that feel like they're trying to squeeze every nickel and dime out of patrons. The water park, itself, isn't great. There's two nice-sized tube slides and some very short body slides. The lazy river is also very short and filled with empty tubes in a way that feels claustrophobic. The hot tubs are nice. But it just doesn't feel like there's anything particularly exciting to do. Once you've been down the slides a few times and checked out the hot tubs, that's mostly it unless you're a little kid (there's a few activities that are geared for young kids). Overall: If you want a good resort experience, you can get it here. If you want a good water park experience, you've got much better options nearby.
