I found this surveying company last minute for a home purchase in May 2023. The contact for…read moreanswering inquiries at first was a breeze and very responsive. They promised 7-10 turn around time and sent the invoice right away minutes after speaking with Viviane. She was very helpful in getting all the details needed for the job and making sure the deposit was paid. Once I paid and awaited the job, I followed up in one week at the earlier end of the the TAT and was told it was ready and was in the finalizing stages, it should've been ready at the end of the week. I followed up at the end of the week, and didn't get a response until days later, claiming the same thing. Now we're past the promised time and I found myself calling and emailing nonstop for an answer. I was started contacting the VP he said he was on vacation and would have someone contact me end of day. When I didn't get anything end of day, I called him back. No reply. Then I called him back on Monday he said I would hear from someone. Same run around for days. I wrote a really long email about the discontentment and unsatisfactory I had been receiving. Someone else by the name of Nick, stepped in sent the survey ahead of final payment and apologized. I didn't like that I didn't hear from Gary again with an apology or anything. I wouldn't refer anyone to this company as they do not hold to their word. I found this company on Angie's List and I will leaving a review there as well.

He came to our house, went over what needed to be done, gave us an estimate, and what seems to be a rare thing in the construction business these days, did what he said he was going to do. More recently a discrepancy ensued between our survey and the so-called "survey" obtained by the adjacent property. We learned earned the hard way that there are a lot of really shoddy surveyor companies around. It's shocking, we know, but true. They promise you a real "deal" if you use them, but then you just end up paying way more later because while they may give you your "survey" they don't back up their survey with actual reference points and then when your property is in jeopardy of being encroached upon they don't answer the phone and can't be reached. If the price looks suspiciously good...there's probably a good reason for that. You get what you pay for. We felt very vulnerable when this happened to us and Farrentello Group surveyors were THERE for us. They were professional and HONEST and very very knowledgeable. It's a family business and they are in this business for years. Frank is a real human being; a mentch :) I told him that recently and his response was that his name is on the line. Literally. We don't normally post on social media but we feel there is widespread injustice being done to unsuspecting consumers and at the end of the day we will sleep better knowing we at least tried to get the word out. Don't be penny wise and pound foolish. Protect your land as it deserves to be.
