They have advertisements along the road to make it easy to find. They do a great job on my eyebrows. Eyebrow threading is a bit painful but hey, pain is beauty. Make sure to discuss the width you would like your brows otherwise you may walk out with some skinny brows (or as we like to call them in California, Chola brows) like I did last summer. First time customers only 3 euros for brow threading and after that, it is 5€ each visit. I'll definitely be back every month to touch up my brows.

I have been using Aveda products and visiting their salons for nearly a decade now. Although I…read morelive in Mainz, I received glowing recommendations from friends about Haareszeit & decided to pay a visit. Any of the stylists here are top-notch (I've observed them all while sitting & waiting) & they have a dedicated clientele. There's even a beautiful, well-coiffed silver-haired woman who's there every week, without fail. I've been going to Isabel for a couple of months now and couldn't be happier. My cut is perfect & both my highlights & base color looks great. The formulas used take into account the water in this part of Germany (very hard) & the colors are still as nice 4 weeks later. Pricing is comparable to Aveda salons both in the US & in Tokyo. When it comes to great stylists & colorists, you get what you pay for!

I discovered this place through a good friend and social media (facebook.) Steffi seemed very…read moreknowlegeable and has over 30 years of experience. Thee website states to book an appointment by phone, but I messaged the salon on Facebook and Steffi got back to me right away and I booked an appt by Facebook messenger. When you first enter the salon: you'll hang up your coat, have a seat, fill out an information sheet/contact info, and then Steffi will ask what you would like, get your hair washed and conditioned, then Steffi will cut your hair. I was pretty flexible and just wanted to get rid of the unhealthy part of my hair since I hadn't cut my hair in over a year. I wanted to keep as much length as possible along with long layers and angles to frame my face. She provided input when I asked and she repeated what she would do which is always reassuring. She even showed me exactly how much she planned on cutting. Steffi's English is amazing and there was no language barrier. After Steffi completed my cut, Ally (Allie) blew my hair out straight. Ally is steffi's colleague who is American and she has a total of 6 years experience. She was very sweet and it was easy to carry on a convo with her. My hair came out pretty well. I almost wish my angles were alittle shorter to frame my face better, but in their defense.... I'm sure Steffi would have cut it shorter if I requested. I honestly didn't notice that it was still pretty long until after it was blown out. (My hair always looks different wet vs dry.) It's no big deal though. My primary goal was to chop off my dead ends, so mission accomplished! This place is a bit pricey compared to the states, but I think it's relatively fair for Germany. I will most likely return in 4-6 months for another cut!
