This Perkins can be seen from off the freeway but not very easy to get to unless you are staying at one of the hotels down the lengthy street. We decided to stop here because the Cracker Barrel was crowded and the parking lot was nearly full. Most guests or visitors would not venture further down the long street unless you were staying at the hotels located further away. Service took a while since there was a line at the cashier station and the worker was not able to handle the payments and bakery orders at the same time. Once we were seated, service became much better and the food arrived quickly. Overall, this was a good place for food but once the line forms to pay for your meal, and people are lined up for seating, you will unfortunately have to wait for the other line to disperse before you are seated. It's not a great system but if staffing is tight, that would be the alternative.

Meh on top of meh. The place was empty but still super slow. The food was bland unappealing. Nothing was really wrong with it but it just wasn't good. Like how you feel when you make a tv dinner, you aren't happy about it but you need to eat something and it is food so you eat it. That's the excitement this food engendered. I won't go to one star because it wasn't exactly bad it was just enthusiastically not good. And very slow. It was like a restaurant that has just given up on itself. Like if a restaurant could be that guy that peaked in high school and now is 45 in a dead end job with an ex and kids that won't speak to him so he drinks cheap beer and watches tv land reruns all night in his recliner, if that could be a restaurant, this particular Perkins is it.

Not great, but it's precisely what I'd expect from a chain-type place next to a hotel. What I did not expect was terrible service in a small midwest town. The waitress was annoyed by us and did not like when we asked for something in addition to what she brought out, like sugar-free syrup (I know I would never, but my grandmother needs to watch her sugar intake). The bacon came out soggy, and my mom asked if she could have it crispy, so that was a fail. My meal was decent. I had a veggie skillet and added broccoli. In fairness, the waitress could have had an off day, but there are way better places for breakfast, so I'd blow past this on the interstate.

I've been to this Perkins location twice and had very different experiences. The first experience was quite pleasant, good service but nothing memorable. My second experience, I came with a group of 9 people (split up at a table of 5 and 4). It took us 2.5 hours to get our food!!! WHAT!? That's ridiculous! Our food came out cold, one order was completely missing, and the serving portions of the sides were extremely stingy. We waited soooo long for our food and I still left hungry and disappointed! On the bright side, it was Monday, so we left with a free piece of pie. Pics attached are from my first visit

Food was good but they're was a lady touching all our food and she had bandages wrapped around her hands which may be a safety hazard.

The space is so cute--warm, cozy, and the kind of spot that immediately makes you feel better just by being in it. There's a huge selection of drinks (coffee, tea, and everything in between) plus plenty of food options, which was exactly what I needed in that moment. Everything was delicious, comforting, and just the right amount of restorative. Whether you're recovering from a long weekend or just need a really solid coffee in a great space, this place is a must-stop in Lincoln.

I had great service, and I like that they take your order and make your drink before helping the next customer. It seems to help things flow more smoothly. My oat milk cortado was good, my husband got a dirty chai and it was an interesting flavor. Not had, but lacked some of the chai spice flavor. I also ordered a blueberry muffin for us to split, it was big! It was tasty, but covered in cinnamon sugar which I didn't appreciate on a blueberry muffin. We sat on the outdoor patio with our dogs and it was such a relaxing time! Great patio seating and a bit of indoor seating as well, not as much as the Omaha location.

I didn't drink, but my friends had lots of lovely concoctions floating around. We shared the Parmesan Sirloin Fondue as an appetizer and WOW--this was a favorite. The house-made green chile cheese dip is basically a spicy, savory roux topped with crispy steak tips. It was rich, a little spicy, and incredibly satisfying. I really loved this and would absolutely order it again. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan, and it came with a nice, thick piece of chicken--always appreciated. The San Marzano tomato sauce was good and flavorful, and the dish was well-balanced overall. I'm a little picky about breading, and I didn't love it but flavor-wise it's spot on. I had total plate envy for the teriyaki steak bowl. It looks phenomenal and I will definitely be ordering that next time. One friend had the Moody Bleu Burger (without the jalapeños) and said it was still a bit spicy but tasty overall. Another friend ordered the Veggie Burger, and she said it was really good. She often orders veggie burgers and felt this one held its own. Someone else at the table compared it to the veggie burger at Leadbelly, with high praise. The Bistro Burger was also a hit flavor-wise--Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, and mushrooms worked well together--but the only downside was that the bottom bun got pretty soggy. Fleetwood is definitely worth checking out, and it's a little bit tricky to find, but it's right under the bridges under O St.

Thankfully, the kitchen was able to accommodate my request for lettuce and tomato for my entree. The burger gave me sweet and savory vibes because of fig jam and lemon herb mayo.
