Grandpa passed away this past weekend on October 2. FedEx Germany asked for €51 custom tax and sent a demanding invoice to the dying grandpa in Hospice. For what??? Does FedEx hire people who can't read English? On the back of the small painting it said and signed by me, the granddaughter to the grandfather, who suffered from terminal lung cancer. Now my grandpa is gone. You are sending invoice to the dead. For one thing it is extremely ignorant and heartless to tax on a grandchild painting to my dying grandpa. And then sending a tax due invoice to the dying grandpa in Hospice to pay. What is wrong with you FedEx!? You supposedly a great company who are human. This is absolutely disgusting, absurd and wrong. Do you need the grandpa's death certificate? Do you need me, the granddaughter' letter to prove I made the painting myself?? Is the computer programming the entire business to be disrespectful and loathsome? FedEx sent the invoice to the grandpa in Hospice. How sickening. Shame on you, FedEx. This is a promise that it will be posted to all social media so all is aware of this scourging experience with FedEx. Multiple billion company wanting €51 from the dead. What kind of devil like culture and process are you training people, FedEx? You have caused so much more pain in our grieving for grandpa.
