There is parking behind the Chinese with no parking out the front. It is a small place and is easily missed if you are not looking out for it. I usually go for the mushroom fried rice with curry sauce and it is lovely, they also do mini spring rolls which are pretty nice and I can't get enough of. I find it is not as greasy as it is in many other Chinese take aways.

Dixy is great, it's been around for years and years, and they are kind of like a KFC but not…read more They're independent for starters, rather than part of a chain, but they do all sorts of similar foods and it's basically fried chicken that's the main dish. As well as various sizes of 'bucket' or meal with fries and chicken in them, they also do things like bbq ribs and onion rings. Great place to go if you've a few people turn up unexpectedly coz you can feed a fair number quite cheaply from here with little fuss. They were also really good a few years back when we had a party and asked if they could do us 50 hot wings to be collected at a specific time and did them for a really good price. (saved me a little cooking and they went out as part of the hot buffet).

So I had to go into the shop and make my order, only to find out now they can't deliver to my house for free, it was now an additional £1 extra. So I went back home for a little while the pizzas were being made, came back into the shop and found out that they had given me ONLY 2 SAUCES to share 2 WHOLE 12 INCH PIZZAS with? They're so tight. There was hair on my chips as well. Do not eat from here. Ever.

Individual starters are around £4-6 each, a mixed starter is £13 per head, crispy duck starts at around £10 and then mains are generally around £9. If you like someone else to pick which dishes go with which then gourmet dinners or banquets cost around £20 per head upwards for a minimum of 2 people. If you are seeking the best value then a buffet is available some of the time. The food is obviously not as good because it has been standing around, but it is very acceptable and great value at around £15 on Friday and Saturday evenings and less for the buffet Sunday lunch and dinner. The wine list isn't cheap, ranging from around £10-24, but the wines I have tried have all been good. All together great food, good service, great value and highly recommended.

A large group of us have Percy parties every year. This is where friends of ours who live outside of their MK delivery zone come to our home and we have a summer garden party and order Percy's - this is great fun and the kids love it too!
