It is like straight from a Patrick Suskind novel. No detail is left to luck. Simply perfect scents and branding and mystery and surprise. Even the packaging is exquisite. Founded by Julian Bedel (the artist's son) and Ama Amoedo, it's literally a sensual experience where no detail or finish has been rushed or overlooked. Sleek recycled-glass jars are the centerpiece of the room, with at least 50 fragrances to whiff at, with names like Metafora, Tinto Rojo and others that conjour the mysteries of Patagonia. There are seven collections, including Destinos, Personajes and Fábula Fauna, but custom scents are a big part of the genius of this magnetic man.
