I needed L4-5 PT, but wanted aquatic PT (94 to 96 degree warm water pool designed specifically for…read morePT). From prior experience with back and knee PT, it is SOOO much easier to do PT in water than on land, particularly if you are at all overweight. Aquatic PT relaxes muscles with easier stretching, and greatly decreases the aggravation of gravity so you can really hone in on the particular muscles you need to address. I shopped four area water PT sites and asked to speak to the head PT for aquatic therapy; that separated the wheat from the chaff very quickly. Tip: If they don't return your call or if they can't be specific about pros/cons of water vs land, look elsewhere. This site is a 35 min drive from my home, but after several sessions, I can tell you it's the best for water PT that I've experienced in three states. The combo of Rebecca Stubbs, DPT and Shaughnessy Postell, PTA was excellent. Shaughnessy is a masters-level swimmer who loves the water. That added a great new level to aquatic PT, as she could easily invent ways to get to my problem areas--much more so than someone not completely comfortable in the water. That makes her A+ creative and highly effective. In addition, Compleat also offers a great 'graduate' wellness program after you finish PT: inexpensive continued access with therapists still available for questions (just not the constant supervision of a PT session). This is a terrific place--highly recommend.

I'm so grateful that I found Dr. Bob as he has helped to make my third trimester so much more enjoyable. I look forward to continuing to see him through the remainder of my pregnancy as well as postpartum.

Suddenly and without warning, multiple time's a week I would get dizzy, be unable to stand, and my eyes would involuntarily move side to side with a condition called nystagmus. For years I went to multiple specialists including ENT and neurologists without any success. Then I met Laura and my luck completely changed. I had an initial assessment where she reviewed my condition. She immediately could describe the underlying causes and the treatment. I had one treatment and I couldn't believe it but I was cured. My neck muscles released, I gained mobility and my symptoms were gone. It has been years and I have never had any symptoms of dizziness. I have continued to get treatments for other conditions/injuries I have sustained since I met her. I even signed up for online yoga with her. I was very challenging and she was able to describe the postures and make small adjustments to my practice. She is an amazing doctor. For anyone with any dizziness or whiplash injuries I would highly recommend her. I'm glad I met Laura. And you will be too!

If you're dealing with back pain, don't keep putting it off and allow it to affect your energy and your ability to enjoy your normal daily routines. As a former athlete, I'm very familiar with chiropractic care and different treatment plans. However, now that I'm no longer playing in a competitive field, I had almost forgotten how important it is to incorporate these types of treatments and exercises into my routine and take care of my body. From my very first visit, I was greeted by a friendly and thorough staff, along with Eric's great energy and welcoming personality. I also enjoyed learning more about his background and having conversations about family and sports, which made the experience feel very comfortable and personable. Anderson Family Chiropractic is a great place to start if you're looking for care that is willing to work with you based on your individual needs. Like anything involving your health, consistency is important, and I appreciate having a team that encourages you to stay committed to taking care of yourself. I'm happy I found Anderson Family Chiropractic and would definitely recommend giving them a try if you're ready to make your health a priority!

I had a couple different issues that I wasn't quite sure how to handle... My lower back was really hurting since June and for some reason my right big toe hurt when I bent it a certain way (but the other big toe didn't hurt). I couldn't bend my back backwards as much as I used to (not just age related). I didn't want to go to a regular physician because I generally find those visits useless, but then I overheard a friend say he loved his chiropractor. I decided to try it. Yelp and Google helped me to Dr. Anderson. He has a bad photo (sorry doc) but don't let that deter you. He has a lot of paperwork for you to fill out, but don't let that deter you. The front staff/assistants are the nicest people and remember you. And the doc ain't bad either. He was very thorough with his questions and explanations . I was a little dubious of his examination due to how quick it was. A few little clicks of the adjuster later and he's asking me to come back like another 12 times! I was a little appalled... But I'm a compliant person so I scheduled the next exam a couple days later. 24 hours later, I was raving to my partner and all my coworkers how I'm a believer of chiropractics. "Life-changing" is how I described it. It's the only reason why I'm continuing all my follow-ups, I just feel so much better. Flexibility is key to the dance and sports I do, so I'm really glad I can continue to enjoy these activities. While I do recommend Dr. Anderson, if you're new to chiropractics, I would find an office that's convenient to you because I did not expect this many visits. Just a little PSA from a new convert. I'm starting a religion. Let me know if you want to join.
