My first class was lower body with Kristine and my second was upper body with Elliot. Both instructors went through each movement and gave fantastic explanations. Both instructors made sure to walk around the room, motiving all of their guests. SOTA fitness was clean, a lot of parking, and had lots of different equipment. Looking forward to coming back next time I visit MN!

I have some body issues stemming from injury and flat feet (thanks dad) and caryn not only was respectful of them but also showed me how to modify certain stretches and sequences so as not to hurt myself or cause discomfort and also get the maximum stretch and strengthening. This morning I went to my first mat class (we had a private "family" class with my mom, me, our friend and her daughter) in probably 3 years and it was wonderful. Their new (well, new to me!) space is light, airy and just beautiful. Caryn is a fantastic teacher and is extremely attentive to all in her classes. I will admit, Pilates can be a bit expensive but the effect it has on your body...and really your mind, can be well worth the expense.

Parking feels tight, but the ramp is extremely convenient and there's always plenty of space. I always love having a covered parking space, especially on hot or snowy days. The classes here are some of my favorite. I really like that the GTX area is separate from the rest of the weight training, but still plenty of room. The upstairs track is also great - haven't taken a class there yet, but it looks like a lot of fun. The locker rooms feel a little smaller, but overall it's not too cramped so just plan accordingly and you're set.

First things first, I do love this place…read more Like most people, I was coerced by a so-called friend into taking a class. Was sore for days, couldn't cough or laugh without everything hurting. Immediately was hooked. I ended up getting the 4 classes per month membership and it's plenty to keep me engaged without burning out. Literally, because these classes are insanely hard. Overall facilities are nice, I wish there were showers or even more than just 2 bathrooms because I'd prefer to take a class before heading into the office but do need to get ready. It also gets a little cramped in there sometimes. I get that classes fill up so having the extra machine or two can make a difference, but there are times I feel like I might be holding hands with my neighbor.
