Anyways, the service they provide was above and beyond tending to customers that had already ordered and in queue. This tomato dried, pepper jack cheese and spinach burrito was beautifully complimented with their homemade Chipotle Mayo WHICH we bought a jar of because it's just that good What's also nice about their jar is you can see them hand scoop the Mayo so you know it's homemade. I must say, this quaint little coffee shop/cafe may look small on the outside. But don't let that fool you as it packs a lot of good things on the inside. Which takes me on a trip to the coastal city of Pacifica, CA where I had the opportunity to try out "Perfect Pour Cafe". Conveniently located right off of Highway 1 (Pacific Coast Highway) and on the corner of Clarendon Road & Francisco Blvd., this place has been dishing out some amazing coffee/espresso drinks and small bites ever since 2013. I had the opportunity to try this place out on the morning of Monday 2/15/2021 which was the ideal vibe since it was a cool, drizzly morning. Keep in mind, this place is tiny on the inside and with the strict COVID-19 measures that are in effect (for San Mateo County), indoor seating was closed off (as of early-2021). Fortunately, I was staying at a nearby Airbnb which was only a 5-minute walk from this place. Score! Since I wanted something warm to get my morning going, I decided on ordering just a plain house coffee (for about $2.75) with room for cream & sugar with a plain bagel w/cream cheese (priced at $4.00). For this place being as small as it was, they offer a ton of beverage options including coffees/espressos, teas, smoothies, & fresh squeezed juices. Their food menu is also quite extensive which includes a variety of pastries, bagels, paninis, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and avocado toast. One thing that had me sold was the customer service. This business (as well as thousands of other small businesses) has going through difficult times adjusting the temporary reality with the worldwide pandemic. This didn't stop my barista from showing gratitude & a big smile on her face when she made my drink. In addition, my coffee was perfect while the prices here are very reasonable. All in all, "Perfect Pour Cafe" is a perfect little place to visit if you wish to grab a drink/small bite and take a quick little stroll to the beach (which is just minutes away) or casually walk around town. With that said and done, the ambiance, service, location, and prices are all amazing. My rating, a unanimous five stars! read more

Cute cafe with lots of options for drinks and bagel sandwiches. The ladies working there are super sweet (I went at a time it was super busy, but they were incredibly nice and didn't give off any rushed vibes). The bagel was so good, the pesto in the green eggs made it savory and really made it tasty. I can't have cheddar cheese and they were able to sub for pepper jack. The chai latte was lacking a deeper chai taste but TBH it's hard to achieve if it's not home made chai. They also have coffee beans for sale (ground or whole bean, 16oz), wish they sold it in small sizes but I still wanted to try so I got the medium roast and it's pretty good! It's a short walk to the pier/beach which makes it the perfect place to stop by and grab your coffee/bagel sandwich before soaking in the pacifica coastal views. I'm not gonna lie, when I heard they were moving their location to the corner, I got a little scared. Usually when a business moves to a different location, everything changes and sometimes the food is not as good as it used to be. But holy sh!t, did the classic hash breakfast burrito seriously get more delicious!!!! Thank God the taste and the quality of the food did not change. I even think the coffee got better. The young lady was friendly that took my order. I ordered a vanilla latte, hot medium size. it's a small little shop not a lot of room to stand there to wait. After I got my coffee, I stepped outside. I was thinking boy this doesn't taste like a vanilla latte. I was almost to my car about a block away, and the girl came running out, saying come back come back!! I forgot to put the vanilla in your latte. I said I don't really have time to come back. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Perfect Pour is the best breakfast place in Pacifica - hands down. Their team is extremely nice and does a great job. Their breakfast burritos are the best I've had in 30 years of existence. And the iced coffees (Try the Mexican Mocha iced, it tastes like a cinnamon roll churro!) are incredibly good. i have to say that even tho i live in SF, i still go to Pacifica just to grab coffee and a Cali Panini from this place! Every time my husband and i are near the area, need a good pick me up, or looking for a simple brunch to enjoy by the beach-- this is the perfect place! i have recommended this place to my sister and some coworkers who live and/or hike in the area! The Cali panini has always been my favorite and every time i crave for a yummy serving of this with coffee, this is the only place i go! lines used to be really long on a sunday morning so my husband and i try to go on the weekdays. Coffee drinks are superb and the donuts are delicious! (Jennifer, i am still curious where you get them and may ask you next time i see you in the store!) Their shop is now relatively new as they took over the corner spot and now have room for people to sit and chill to enjoy their coffee. A local gem. We came here Sunday morning and there were a few customers already. Wait didn't take long. About 5 min for the drink and 10 min for the food item. Breakfast burrito- delicious, hot, freshly made. The skin is heated in a Panini maker giving it a warm crisp on the outside. It's mostly "to go" orders, however there are a few tables & chairs outside in the back and side of the shop. I've always managed to find parking right outside. Their sandwiches are huge and filling. Perfect pour is a hidden gem in Pacifica! If you are looking for great quality coffee and food, this is the spot for you! I got the veggie breakfast burrito with hash-brown and chorizo added. It was a great size for only $10 and that chipotle aioli is to die for (ask for extra, you won't regret it). The staff was super friendly with a happy attitude that couldn't help but brighten my day. Was in the neighborhood for work and stopped by for some coffee. The menu looked delicious so I picked up a breakfast burrito and panini for myself and my boss. Staff and patrons couldn't be nicer. Oat milk latte was delicious and creamy. My only suggestion to staff would be wrapping the food in parchment or foil completely before putting it in the cute stamped bags to prevent leakage and loss of heat. Especially when the (delicious) sandwich is slightly too big for the bag and the bag rips putting it in. I've always passed by this cafe when leaving Pacifica Pier. Years later(yesterday morning) my partner suggested we try this place for brunch and I'm so happy he did! So many panini options to choose from! Their coffee menu is impressive as there is a long list of unique flavors available. I ordered the iced pistachio latte, my partner order the extreme toffee latte, and my sister order the salted cherry almond latte. Incredible! The Chipotle veggie burrito is to die for. My kids had a grilled cheese which they really enjoyed. My sister had a turkey pesto panini which looked amazing! We took our food and beverages up to the beach and enjoyed with a view of the ocean. I usually get the bulletproof coffee. I was pretty hungry and ordered the Keto plate, I would definitely come back for that. They also have a nice cozy outdoor seating area around back. I enjoyed this cute cafe. I ordered a sandwich and it was totally delicious. I also tried my mother-in-laws breakfast burrito, which was pretty good. I'd probably not get the chipotle sauce in it and instead just do chorizo next time, but it was good. I also got a coffee; Mexican chocolate mocha. Very delicious. A bit overly sweet, but I love dessert coffees. There were paper straws, which are annoying, but it's not really their fault. They don't get points off for that, but maybe bring your own reusable straw. It was nice that everything was compostable though. Made cleanup easy and made me feel like a good person for doing the absolute bare minimum. Three things that were a bit odd. 1) NO BATHROOM. All restaurants and cafes should have bathrooms. It really means no one can chill and work inside or even have a long meal, which leads me to 2) quite uncomfortable seating. The chairs are fine, but the benches are pretty rough. It seems the whole place is designed to get you in and out the door as fast as possible, which makes the third issue even odder. There's a lot on the menu, but the board behind the cashier on the wall doesn't explain any of the food. Every single customer had to ask the cashier what the dishes were or what the drinks were, and there were so many customization options that it was like an interrogation when ordering. It must be such a pain for the cashier to have to say the same stuff over and over and over. Just make your signage bigger and include descriptions of each dish, meat options, and bread options. It would save so much time and confusion for both customers and employees. I'd definitely go again, as now I know my order, but I'll make sure to use the bathroom prior to arriving and to not plan on staying long. read more

This is the cutest coffee shop very close to the beach! They have delicious breakfast burritos and I loved their seasonal holiday menu. They are also very dog friendly and saw so many cute pups when we went to go visit. We got both a pumpkin spice latte and a caramel latte while passing throw the time and it was DELICIOUS. I got a blueberry muffin as well, but I will say there were hardly any blueberries lol it looked like a regular muffin I was a little confused after biting in. Their card machine was having some issues and I was charged $16 then $18 on two different transactions, the worker let us know that their card machine was malfunctioning a bit so that's something to keep an eye on. After a quick hike at Mori Point, my friend and I wanted to find a spot for a quick bite and coffee. A quick yelp search turned up Perfect Pour Cafe, which was less than 5 minute drive away. Pulling up to this small but cute cafe, we noticed a parking lot and street parking available. We immediately noticed a back patio where we could sit with the pup. We were greeted by a friendly staff and my eyes immediately noticed the iced Horchata Latte! It only comes in one size, and was very sweet. I enjoyed it a lot because the horchata flavor was more forward than the latte. Definitely would order again. I also ordered a breakfast panini. They offer a $8 and $8.5 option, the more expensive one has two eggs, so I went with that one. The bread was thick and had a nice crunch to it. It was topped with eggs, ham, and bacon. We were kind of in a rush, and the panini took about 15 minutes, so I took it home to eat. The panini needed a little something extra, so I added some mayo and truffle oil which made for a pretty filling and tasty breakfast. Dogs allowed inside and on the back patio is a plus in my book! Definitely worth a stop when I'm hiking near Mori Point. read more

It chose me. (Don't you love when they cut the bagel in halfsies without you asking? Same!) ^^ the way they toast this bagel..is perfect. You'll see! - Horchata latte - Extreme toffee latte (GAH, YAAAS!) Inside is cute. Pinterest, farmhouse chic, small town, big hearts, cute. I'm not sure if it's a family or friend duo that's at the counter, but they are the sweetest ladies. You can call in to order ahead too, which is great if you do research on Yelp and know what to order (hint, hint, peep above) There's no outdoor seating (and hardly any indoor seating) but if you drive a few minutes down the block there's plenty of parking at the beach! paid almost $10 for their seasonal iced lavender matcha latte and have multiple qualms: - latte was grainy and could barely taste the matcha. I believe they use the cheap instant matcha mix that bubble tea shops use because why else would the matcha taste artificial and grainy? - could barely taste the lavender. If i didn't want the lavender I could have ordered a regular matcha latte and saved a dollar or so, but I paid extra for the special - overly sweet, used so much syrup when I did not ask for any extra (possibly because of the instant matcha used or an extra sweet lavender flavor?) - $1.60 for alternative milk? other local cafes only charge $0.50-$1 - the only size option for iced drinks is large. not everyone wants to drink and pay for a whole large iced latte aside from that, the ambience is cute, typical small cafe look and seating arrangements and the baristas were nice even when dealing with a rush of customers. I've been here a couple of times now since I moved to Daly City and wanted a local latte fix. But today hit different. Tldr, someone else took my food order and I was stuck waiting for over half an hour, but the service here is top quality and makes waiting for the drinks and food so worth it. I ordered an ube latte and a breakfast burrito during some peak hours on a Saturday morning. I usually take my food Togo so I can enjoy the hot food and drink together so I found it odd that it was taking a while when my drink was served almost immediately but my food never made it to the front. When I asked, apparently someone had taken my food order (which is rude don't do that, people). The staff was kind and patient and promptly got my food order in again. I asked if I could re-order and pay for another ube latte so I could have a hot drink (as of now my latte was pretty low heat) but they told me that they would make me another on the house. I could tell that they were pretty busy with all the lines and orders coming in, which means they're doing a great job! And that small gesture really made my anxious and stressful morning a lot more comforting. Thanks again to the staff, I'll definitely be coming back more often to try the seasonal latte drinks in rotation! :) read more

Perfect Pour Cafe relocated to the corner spot two doors down and it is the most adorable cute little coffee and cafe spot. Remodeled, new paint, the "ocean" blue walls and shelves with decor. They have huge paninis, chicken salad wrap sandwiches, yogurt parfaits, and smoothies. I love that they have a monthly pop up menu for specials. They still have the outdoor patio area to enjoy but now they have sidewalk tables and chairs too. This is right off the freeway, easy to access if you are going to the beach, or Sharp Park Golf Course. There's plenty of street parking and the owners are local Pacifica residents who have put their heart and soul into this place. Please go and support them! I didn't give a 1 star review simply because I've been here many times before and have not experienced this problem before. I like the owner of the shop, she is kind and cares about the quality of the food she serves people. Today, unfortunately, she was not there. My husband went to pick up a panini that we ordered over the phone, and when he got all the way home there were no hash browns in it. We always get the same thing -since we don't eat eggs, we replace them with hash browns. It really isn't a complicated order. He drives all the way back to Perfect Pour & comes back home and as we take the first bite we realize just how awful it was-- the entire panini was spinach! And I mean 2 LARGE handfuls of raw cold spinach. There is no chipotle sauce. An overwhelming amount of sun dried tomatoes. And the hash browns tasted freezer burned and a little cold in the middle. Needless to say, we felt it was a huge waste of time to drive all the way back, only to come home to a panini worse than the first one. No love and no care put into it, truly off putting experience. read more
