Second time and older lady did them, she left her with more than 9 cuts all around her eyebrows and as soon as she applied a gel after she was finished my daughter felt a BURNING sensation that lasted up to twenty minutes turns out she had cuts all around her poor eyes. She went over how I could fill them in after she was done. I was talking to her about struggling to fill them in properly. We talked about the products I currently use and how to adjust my technic of filling my brows in. I had been unhappy with my shape of my brows and she did a great job at fixing them. Normally I do threading but considered waxing this time around. I don't regret it at all. Before starting the waxing she went over how I'd like to have them shaped and cleaned it. I'm considering going back next time I need my brows done. Do plan ahead of time to make an appointment. Either call or go in person to set up. You'll save some time if you're in a hurry :) Deisy is amazing as well! Most days I've been going now I've had Deisy doing my brows and she's great at what she does! Make sure to make an appointment. Emily met me for a consultation and took her time mapping and planning out where my eyebrows should have been. For years before that I was extremely self-conscious because, not only did I have almost no eyebrows, but what did grow in was completely different on each side. I can happily report that I can go swimming without smudging off carefully constructed pencil-brows. They don't sweat off. I don't think of my bald forehead when I kiss my guy good morning. My brows are even and they look real. Something that bothered me so much for years is just an afterthought now. Emily's prices are fair. If you find someone cheaper, beware! This is not a service you want a bargain on. Every time she touches them up, she takes time to get them just right and I can tell you, that perfectionism is what you need from a brow professional. Aside from the transformative work Emily does, she's also very nice. She's honest but polite, realistic, and never tries to upsell you. She has a lovely little shop full of organic, safe products. But since I have low thyroid the outer third of my eyebrows are nonexistent and I can never make them look right with any kind of brow pencil or gel or what have you. Keturah talks you through every step of the process and makes sure you are completely comfortable with everything she's doing before she does it.
