Dear fellow cruisers, I have been to Royal Caribbean's private island twice now, and each time I have opted for the Coco Beach Club. I suspect this is what heaven would look like if heaven had cabanas and bartenders who actually smiled because they meant it. Service here is magnificent in a way that makes you want to hug strangers. The servers on the beach and in the restaurant, the bartenders who remember your drink before you finish your first, even the attendants at the towel station, all move like benevolent spirits whose only mission is to make sure you feel like a better version of yourself. Because they limit the number of people allowed in the Beach Club, I never had to do battle for a lounger. There are always plenty around the pool and along the beach, as if someone read my mind and said, Here, have this perfect seat. The day beds, which are first come, first served, do go quickly, which only means that other guests are as smart as I am. Lunch at the Beach Club is not a buffet but a ritual. On my most recent visit, I had a surf and turf of filet mignon and warm water lobster. This is not the large, clawed North Atlantic lobster that reminds you of a cartoon villain, but something gentler yet almost equally decadent. Before the main course, a parade of appetizers arrives like an edible symphony. Fresh ceviche that tasted like it was caught and dressed five minutes ago. Shrimp cocktail that was very good and didn't need an apology from the chef. Vegetable crudité and pita bread with hummus, baba ghanoush and tzatziki that were all fresh enough to make you feel briefly healthy. For dessert, a chocolate brownie with ice cream that might be illegal in some countries for how happy it made me. Even if you are not at the Beach Club, the island itself is a kind of utopia. There are plenty of free things to do and eat. Your WiFi package works here, which means you can still pretend to check work emails while your soul unspools in the sun. If you have the drink package, it works here too, which is the sort of detail that makes life worth living. For the thrill seekers, Thrill Water Park is a cathedral of absurd courage. Daredevil's Peak is the highest water slide in the Caribbean and looks like it might just fling you into another dimension. There are other rides with names that sound like they were invented by a group of caffeinated teenagers, including Dueling Demons, Screeching Serpent, Green Mamba, Manta Racers, Sling Shot, Twister, Splash Speedway and Tail Spin. There is also a wave pool that will toss you around like you are laundry. If you are less interested in screaming for your life, the island has a massive freshwater pool and several beaches, each with its own personality. South Beach, Chill Island, Harbor Beach, Cove Beach and Breezy Bay all have their own mood, like a group of siblings who get along just enough to share the family name. There is another pay to enter area called Hideaway Bay, which is adult only and less exclusive than the Beach Club, but has more of a party atmosphere. Snorkeling at Coco Cay is not the main event. There is no reef the would entice Jacques Cousteau rise from the dead. But the water is crystal clear and warm, and you may spot nurse sharks, lemon sharks, rays and small schools of fish drifting around like lazy thoughts. Coco Cay is, without question, the best private island any cruise company has in the Caribbean. If you do not have a perfect day here, it is probably because you forgot to pack your soul.

The newest area at CocoCay is the adult only area called Hideaway Beach. It is considered a $ shore excursion that varies in price depending on when it is purchased. I originally paid $78 per person until I found a sale and finally got it for $58 a person which was well worth it. The area accommodates 2000 adults but there were only 800 excursions sold on the day I was there. Once off the ship and you take the long walk down the pier, you will vere to the right to catch a tram to the entrance of Hideaway Beach where they will scan your cruise card for entrance. If you choose to walk it and not take the tram, the walk is along the water and very pretty with all the landscape and iguanas along the banks. Once inside, there is a shaded entertainment bar with hanging swings. From there, you will see the beach area and another bar, and a food shack with hot dogs and ceviche which were very good. Ahead is the infinity pool area and you guessed it, another bar. If you keep walking past the pool area, there is the $$$$cabanas and then another bar with a food shack. Slice of life has very good pizza and hot empanadas. There are also bathrooms and lockers if you need. The music at the pool is a little loud closest to the swim up bar which makes it a little hard to hear the bartenders. There are some elevated tables in the pool and a ledge along the infinity overflow ledge where it is very nice to hang out and look at the ocean from the pool. There are thousands of loungers and plenty of shade if you choose. There are also chickens that hang out by the loungers looking for food. Don't leave your snacks on your chair because the seagulls will definitely get them. I took a midday beach break and took the tram back to the main area and then got on the tram that travels around the whole property just to do some sight seeing. I stopped by the main food area to get the portobello sandwich and the fajitas which I wish they had those options at Hideaway Beach. It seems that the adult only area has most of its food to be very child like. Chicken fingers, hot dogs, mozzarella sticks, pizza, and cheese fries and not elevated at all. Hopefully they will improve that in the future. I did like that there were plenty of places to get drinks and beverages were allowed in the pool and ocean. The lifeguards were friendly and the crew on the island seemed to enjoy their jobs and living on CocoCay for 3 a month stretch. I am thrilled that I had great weather and the adult only area was really nice. I would definitely do it again.

I have been here twice before but I must have been blind, I didn't see Captain Jack bar n the Coco lagoon, wish I did as we spent 2 hrs pigging out n had no time left for the lagoon. We took the trolley ride the previous times and it took so much time we missed the good stuffs at least we saw captain Sparrow corner. This lagoon is like a paradise on earth, the buffet is 10x better than the one in Labadee, it was so clean well organized. No flies, the margaritas were so yummy. There are so many kids on this ship now I know why free water park, pool and beaches, one park cost money though. We're lucky the weather was perfect, balmy breezes, Royal Caribbean cruise is the best line no wonder their stock price went up 400%!! Whoohoohoo! I can't wait to come back here.

This was my second visit to this island in one year, and this visit was not as memorable as the first. I feel that the quality of the drinks was not up to par. The staff seems tired and overworked and not as enthusiastic or energetic as last year. The island is very clean and feels safe. The tram doesn't really have a schedule like one would think it would go around the island showing you everything instead of just going to one spot and back and then you have to wait for multiple trams to come back if you wanna go to the same spot you started at. After waiting over 45 minutes, I decided to walk, which was a lot quicker than waiting for another tram that was just going back to the ship. I feel it could be more organized and should really go around the entire island and make stops along the way like a normal mode of transportation. I don't really understand having to check in and out when you want a towel. Everyone goes through security and it's owned by the same company. The ship doesn't even do that so why does the island do that? The quality of the Mexican lunch was not as good this year. I felt the meat was tough and unable to chew and the fruit look like it had been sitting out a while and I was there at 11:30 AM. The pool is always freezing and I don't understand how the pool on the ship is warm, but the island is freezing.

I recently did back to back cruises with Royal Caribbean and I always love stopping in CocoCay! Everything is basically free with the exception of Coco Beach Club, water park and the new Hideaway beach. To be honest there is no need to pay for anything extra while on the island but you can. Also if you have a drink package you can use that while on the island. Internet is free too! On our first cruise I booked the Coco Beach club which was fabulous. This included private beach front, heated pool, gourmet lunch and upgraded service. It was a nice way to relax. On our second trip unfortunately Mother Nature had other plans so by the time we got on the island for lunch we headed back to the ship because of the rain. This is a must see and do if you sail Royal Caribbean. Great spot for the kids too!

This was my first time at Cococay and loved every minute of it!! My group and I were excited to work on our tans, take dips in the perfect temperature waters, stay hydrated with one of the many stations to refill your cups, and enjoy yummy food from the Chill Grill. We camped out at the Chill Island side to which we found ample seating and an umbrella for some shade. There's a bar on one side by the jet skis to which I utilized our package of nonalcoholic drinks such as Virgin mojitos, daiquiris, piña coladas. The other side had Snack Shack which served finger foods and had a self-serve station of fruits and juice dispensers. There's plenty of bathrooms in walking distances and showers to cool off and rinse with. I walked around and checked out South Beach to which was the more lively of beaches with music playing, outdoor games, volleyball courts, an ocean bar. The walk there has a nice tunnel of buttonwood and other native plants - be on the lookout for iguanas! There's beach accessible strollers and wheelchairs for folks that need help maneuvering over the sand and slight bumpy rocks on the path. Those to rent I believe were first come, first serve. There's a waterpark and Hideaway Beach but those were an additional cost which didn't interest us. I could see it great for families or kids but for us, we were simple and wanted to just enjoy the water and sand. The Oasis Lagoon is a great sized pool with a soft, spongy interior which felt great for the feet. For lunch we ate at the included dining places, Chill Grill. I loved the choices of warmed deli sandwiches, BBQ, Mexican, salads, and sweets. The Cuban sandwich was toasted perfectly and the additional foods had great flavor plus minimal salt. The covered tarp areas provided ample shade. There were a lot of seagulls that also enjoyed the food, so to prevent them from picking at ours we would cover our plates with a paper plate and take turns getting food. Some areas were less bird-filled but it's entertaining to see them up close walking about. Overall loved the amenities offered for this Perfect Day playground. Felt great to not have to carry so much water thanks to the sufficient stations to stay hydrated and refill your bottle plus you can find towel stations here and there to swap sandy ones out. I loved the included beach chairs. You can rent a cabana or bed for additional charge or do an excursion, but we were happy with the included stuff. Great spot to work on your tan and soak in the sights and salty healing waters!

Cococay is one of the nicest islands for cruise ship private islands. The beaches are beautiful and well-maintained. The food options are plentiful and delicious. There are multiple places near the beaches and a main pavilion where there's lots of food served fast! The staff is super attentive and friendly. The common pool area has a live DJ, a swim up bar, and is well maintained and beautiful. It is a party pool! Everybody likes to congregate here. If you want more of a chill vibe, try any of the beaches either by walking or by trolley. "Chill Island" is especially quiet. The trolleys operate efficiently and can get you around the island to wherever you need to go, it's also walkable if you don't mind a short hike. The only thing you have to hope for is good weather and it will be a Perfect Day at CocoCay!

Truly is a perfect day! We visited in April as a family of 4 (boys were 4 and 6 years old.) it's not a terribly long walk from the boat onto the island. We paid the extra money for the water park but I can honestly say it wasn't truly worth it for our boys based on their heights. That said we enjoyed the wave pool which is where we left our stuff all day, and my 6 year old went on 1-2 slides with his dad. There was also a little pool with an obstacle area they did once. A majority of what we did was outside the water park though. There are shuttles to all the different areas and each was so fun! My kids saw the life size soccer pool game on a Mr Beast video so we found that in one area that had lounge chairs by the ocean and a bar. Ok, so I went to the little bar hut here to get drinks for my husband and sodas for the boys. There were many people at this bar but a few servers were getting drinks for people. Bartenders weren't friendly and eventually when one helped me, we placed an order for a mojito, rum punch, Shirley temple and a sprite. My 4 year old had a few sips but didn't love it. I thought I'd have some of his Shirley temple, it had alcohol in it. Assuming it was a complete mistake but maybe be a little extra cautious with your kids drinks. We went to the pool lagoon for a bit and it was also fun. There was another area with a large buffet, we found that towards the very end and wished we'd know about it earlier, soooo many options and it was sooooooo good! Find it to eat at!!! There were 2 little kid water play areas, obviously gorgeous beaches to play and swim in, activities throughout, a few food places and plenty of bar/drink areas! There's an adult only area but we clearly couldn't go. I don't know if those overwater bungalows are worth it if you plan to explore the island. We considered it but glad we didn't. Looked beautiful but we're farther from the main areas, and unless you plan to just sit and relax there I wouldn't book those. There's PLENTY of chairs to get alllll over the island. I should note there were only 2 boats docked when we were there, I've heard sometimes there are a few more making it busier. There were long lines for the tall tower of slides, we didn't bother with those. This was truly our favorite day of our 7 night cruise!!! 1000000000% encourage you get to cococay!!!

I have been here twice, once to the water park and the other to the beach and oasis pool. I personally like it better on the beach and oasis side since the water park can be a bit expensive for what it's worth. We got rained on and the cruise offered us a credit when we were at the water park last year. Since we decided not to do any excursions this time around, the weather ended up being perfect and we did what we wanted. Swim, eat, drink, and repeat. There is something to do for all ages and you won't go hungry. The buffet offers tacos, salads, burgers, hot dogs, self serve ice cream machines, and plenty of beverages. Everything is within walking distance if you don't use the trams. It definitely was a perfect day at Coco Cay.

Fantastic day at Cococay. The food was excellent. Basically, finger food....no chicken wings (whattttt). We rented the cabana, which allowed for cover from the elements because it did rain though brief Decent bar with nice selection of drinks and beer. If you makenit here, take some time out to tour the entire island... lots to see.

Perfect Day at Coco Cay, Perfect actual exists on Royal Caribbean, private island Coco Cay. Had such a wonderful day, with the entire family of seven. We got to the island around 830am and enjoyed every aspect of fun, the island had to offer. The island is full of all amenities, there are so many bathrooms throughout the island. Especially with young kids, you are all covered. Highly recommend getting on the island early, as many tables and chairs go quickly. I do recommend that you take the time, to experience Coco Cay.
We came here November 2025. We had a nice sunny day. However the pool was too cold to swim in like ice water but the ocean was warm enough to get in and enjoy. We didn't buy any extra activities we just got up and got there and 8:30 am and stayed till around 3 pm. So we had a full day. We checked out the pool then we went to chill Island and did some snorkeling. Ate lunch and then walked around the island took some pictures did some shopping. Then we took the tram over to South Beach and did the Nature trail Did some swimming over there. I checked out Captain Jack's and a few other places. We were getting tired saying ran out of steam to explore some more of the island but we got most of it done. The food was great. Lots of choices and the chicken was so good!! I did like how they had flavored water mango lime strawberry We didn't have that on the ship. The one thing they didn't have was coffee. We had a wonderful day. The tram is not one that goes around the island for sightseeing if you get on you have to get off at the stop. Then Wait for the next one too get back on to continue to the next place. But other than that everything was fabulous. read more
Came back from the Symphony of the Seas, when its sister ship (Wonder of the Seas) was also in port. I had the opportunity to watch while the Wonder docked right across from us, from our balcony. With each ship (both in the top 10 of largest cruise ships in the world, both handling ) docked, the island had to handle over 10,000 cruise guests at the same time, and the island seemed more crowded than for previous visits. There are towels stations located throughout the island where you can borrow towels against your room. The wifi that you are used to on the boat, also work on the island, with a handy map to get you around. There are paved paths, but a lot of dirt roads as well. I still haven't been able to make use of the shuttle transportation yet...it looks like you have to checkin, providing a bit more rigor. Will be back to the island later this year, so will need to try that next time. read more

This is one of my favorite spots on royal caribbean cruises. Amazing resort pool and ocean access for recreational activities. I loved the oasis pool in middle of island. The oasis pool has a bar that you can swim up to half of it or stand at the other side and order. The food stations all over the island provide quick snacks for free. They are tasty. If you are on royal caribbean cruise. You will love checking out this stop. read more

Lack of imagination or customer service for seating at dinner last night. Not concerned with customer satisfaction only with saying "no !"

We love CocoCay and the private cabanas. They are expensive but if you are taking your family on vacation, I strongly recommend booking this. You will have your own private space, an attendant assigned to you to bring drinks and food, and honestly the price is worth it. Bring cash to tip your attendant and to shop at the local vendor markets. Everything else can be charged to your seapass. read more

1000000000% encourage you get to cococay!!! read more
I have been here twice, once to the water park and the other to the beach and oasis pool. It definitely was a perfect day at Coco Cay. read more

Fantastic day at Cococay. The food was excellent. Basically, finger food....no chicken wings (whattttt). We rented the cabana, which allowed for cover from the elements because it did rain though brief Decent bar with nice selection of drinks and beer. If you makenit here, take some time out to tour the entire island... lots to see. read more

I do recommend that you take the time, to experience Coco Cay. read more
Royal's private island in the Bahamas is THE private island of the cruise lines. They have spent big bucks to turn this island into an array of different spots for different wants. Big thrills water park, fun pool with dj and bar, private cabanas, plenty of beachfront area, adult only spaces, zip lines, and food and bars a plenty; some free, some for cost. With two ships (not even talking the newest largest ones) in port, certain areas can definitely feel the crowd. Usually it's felt in the free pool and smaller food outlets like the Snack Shacks. Speaking of the shacks, that's where you go for the funnel cake and the shack chicken sandwich. We will get off the ship just for those. They do, however, also have some great premade salads and you can add fried or grilled chicken. At the larger buffet areas I recommend the portobello sandwich or the philly cheesesteak, or make your own taco salad. If you bring your own snorkel equipment and get off early enough (before all the sunscreen clouds the water), you can snorkel for free on the beach just off the rocks. Usually fish around to see. Last time we were there the lifeguard said there was a lemon shark around in the morning. Haven't gone to the water park yet but maybe I'll make it there one day. They also have a tram pretty frequently to take you to and from the boat. Overall lots to do on the island for free. read more
We did the CocoCay Beach Club and it was worth the extra cost for a quieter beach experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Especially the restaurant host Jordan!! Loved loved that the chairs had flags on them to signal the drink staff. Great nonalcoholic options and the best bar staff. The upgraded meal and service was phenomenal. Loved that we had a larger party and the waiter brought out appetizers boxes so we could all sample the menu. A few loved items they would have never tried if they ordered on their own. Shout out to the ceviche and humus! Delicious!! For many courses, most in the group ordered the surf and turf. Cooked to perfection! I also heard good things at the table about the burger and lobster sandwich but the other star was the chicken caesar salad. Finally, we enjoyed the desserts. I'm not a rum cake fan but those at the table said it was strong! Overall a perfect day at CocoCay Beach Club read more

I think Coco Cay was my favorite part of my cruise with Royal Caribbean. There are quite a few different spots on Coco Cay, each with a different feel. For example Chill Island was laid back and chill, then crossing over to Oasis Lagoon where the party is happening at the bar in and out of the pool. And there are hammocks! I took a nice little nap after a few pina coladas. There are a few restaurants on the island, but the buffet has a variety of food from burgers to tacos to salad. The food at the buffet was decent, but they really go heavy on the salt. There are also 2 self serve beer machines. read more
For nearly every second of my entire existence (or...more accurately, since summer of 2022), I often daydreamed of going on a Caribbean cruise. I mean, there is SO much to do just on the ship alone, not to mention throughout its various destinations, that I struggled to figure out a way to properly cover everything inside of one Yelp review. I figure....the only way to properly convey all my key points on Royal Caribbean as a whole, not solely this island, would be to break this review down to 5 categories: CocoCay Island (of course), Harmony of the Seas (the ship I embarked upon), its shops, activities, and of course...its restaurants. You ready? *cracks knuckles* Let's do this! CocoCay Island: This place is essentially Royal Caribbean's own personal paradise, theme and water park. Like, imagine your local water park....except WAY more expensive. Sufficed to say, we opted out of this one because we like not being broke. Regarding the "theme park" side of things, closest we ever got was testing out the zip-line. So many people on Reddit kept saying it wasn't worth the money, but I beg to differ. My son and I each took to the [low] skies and it was an adventure we'll never forget. The food on the island was....okay-ish. Like, edible, but somehow worse than the main dining room (more on them later). Oh, but the gorgeous open seas and beaches more than made up for that. Overall rating: 8 out of 10. Harmony of the Seas: Since I'm not Captain Ahab or anyone like that, I'll keep this one short. From an average consumer's perspective, this ship is, without question, truly magnificent! You won't even remember you're on a ship at times because the center villes and such feel like you're walking through a mall. Its massive structure makes for fairly solid ground. We felt a slight rocking towards Day 7, but never once got sea sick. Also, the ship is filled with things to do. Way too much to get into here though. Overall rating: 10 out of 10. The shops: This one's quick, too. We only went to one shop, which I *guess* would be considered the "main" one. It's the one with the RC symbol on it, across from Johnny Rockets, Deck 6 (Crikey! Have I been indoctrinated at sea?). Bought a sick sweatshirt there. Prices are slightly inflated, but manageable in the scheme of cruises n' such. Overall rating: 8 out of 10. Activities: Remember how I mentioned that there's simply too much to get into when discussing activities on Harmony? I wasn't kidding. This ship is so massive, I believe there is something interesting to do on every single deck. To briefly cover a few personal highlights, though - The Water slides: b*tchin'! The dry slide: Also b*tchin'! Though...a bit slower than its water counterpart. Destinations: well paced and balanced with sea days. The arcades: overpriced as hell with a pathetic game selection. The shows: I'm more of a movie-out-on-the-aqua-theater-at-night kinda guy, ya know? To be honest, my favorite thing to do on the ship was cruise most of the bars and socialize the best way an introvert can; sporadically and intermittently. But my point is, you CAN'T get bored on this ship. You just can't. Overall rating: 9 out of 10. Finally....we saved my favorite category for last: the restaurants. Don't worry. I'll summarize all of the places we personally tried. Though part of me sorely wishes I could leave full reviews for each place. Oh well. Here'goes.. The Main Dining Room: hit or miss for us. We didn't set expectations too high (considering the Windjammer is way better). So, going in, I assumed the food would be somewhere around...Applebee's level tolerable. But to sum up: we ate here a grand total of 4 times and only 1 of those meals ranked above a 5 for me. So all that's to say, this place barely even lives up to its mediocre reputation. But then, that's why we have.. The Specialty Dining: We visited 4 restaurants whilst on the ship - Izumi, Chops Grille (x2), 150 Central Park, and Jamie's Italian. Chops was easily our favorite above all. Service and food were superb! 10 out of 10 for Chops. Izumi served some of the best seaside hibachi I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. It was...interesting watching them cook without fire, I must say. 10 out of 10 for Izumi. 150 Central Park was date night for wifey and I. In addition to having one of the best maître d's on the ship, the food was exquisite (I have GOT to get that lobster thermidor recipe)! 10 out of 10 for 150. And then we have Jamie's. *sigh* This place is awful, you guys. I hate ending things on such a downer. But in short, Jamie's Italian was easily the worst of the specialty restaurants in our book. His cooking is just so bland! Looks like Uncle Roger was right. 2 out of 10 for Jamie's. There. We did it. We have managed to traverse through all the crucial talking points of this luxurious cruise line. And I am giving CocoCay and the entire Royal Caribbean experience 5 massive ships sailing into the sunset at sea out of 5. read more

What a beautiful place the views are absolutely stunning. The water is warm and blue where you could see your toes. It's absolutely beautiful. Coco Cay has a little bit of everything for all ages. But I happen to like the Coco Cay private beach area ( that comes with a price ) yet well worth it & we have one life, it's on or in the back of the island or front ( I guess depending on which way you look at it ) has a pool that overlooks the ocean you can swim in the pool or the ocean and you also get a steak and lobster lunch with your passes - it's just more private, but the island itself is absolutely stunning.! read more

I haven't taken a cruise in over 25 years. This was a great experience. Nice size boat. The ride was fairly smooth, the food was decent in the main dining hall. I did not try too many of the other restaurants. I did order the unlimited drink package, if you like to drink then I would recommend getting it. They also offer unlimited nonalcoholic packages. Note: there is no clothes irons allowed. So bring things that are easy to wear or use their laundry service. read more

Royal Caribbean in the past has been a stand out experience. I'm not sure exactly what has changed but if you have sailed in the past and loved it, it's still a passable vacation just temper EVERY expectation. From food to service to spa the problem is really the poor attention to care. Perhaps they've had to cut their staff or perhaps they cannot attract the same level of dedication in their staff but there is a marked change. I witnessed a number of upset customers as you do on a cruise. Expect no level of concern if you have ANY issues. I wish I hadn't needed to know this. If your trip doesn't require any troubleshooting you'll be okay. Since it's a cruise it's still an easy vacation. read more

We had a great time at Coco Cay. It was rather windy and the water was initially quite chilly but that did not deter our good time. There was a lot of wildlife like lizards and birds which were fun to see. The views were stunning. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We also very much enjoyed the food. We would both recommend and return. read more

Royal Caribbean usually delivers great service, which is why I paid extra for the Beach Club at CocoCay. Unfortunately, it was far from a "Perfect Day." The issue wasn't just the conflicting information we were given or the noticeably subpar service inside the Beach Club--it was the aggressive and humiliating treatment we received from the lunch server, the restaurant manager, lead bartender Ines, and the Beach Club manager, whose name may be Demintus (though he fled the moment I asked to write his name down). The situation escalated over a non-alcoholic Piña Colada I ordered for my daughter, who had a drink package. The restaurant manager initially acknowledged this and I believed it was resolved. But then a server returned and aggressively insisted the charge would not be removed, stating I was the one who ordered it. Even more disturbing was how things unfolded from there. My sister and I asked to speak with the Beach Club manager. Instead, both the manager and Ines arrived with hostile energy, demanding names of staff who had previously given us complimentary non-alcoholic drinks (which we were told were included). I was stunned when Ines said, "Ma'am, we are trying to keep our staff and other guests safe, so please cooperate." I was never rude or loud. We ended up leaving early. Unless management and culture change, I would not recommend spending extra on the Beach Club. read more

Did the SandBar cruise and it was one of the best things I've ever done. The trip is self was beautiful views and great tasting drinks, but what made the whole thing was the crew. Marvin, Watson, and Vincent were the best people to have host this excursion, they brought energy and personality to this and didn't treat it like another group of annoying tourist. If you're looking at things to do at cococay definitely give this a thought and request this great group of individuals! read more

It's basically an amusement park. I tried to like it, but it's all about the kids and for tourists who might never experience the real Bahams. It was our first time here via Icon, and the island a clown show. Firstly, Icon was amazing! No issues there. The island was just a waste of time and money. Some background: we've vacationed the Bahamas and their beaches are never crowded. Coco is crowded like Waikiki (another beach I don't care for) The waterpark has Disney park prices, for a half day use. The zip line is antiquated, like it was recycled from a military boot camp. Sit style...totally boring! And no pics considering it's premium cost. But I get it for others who've never actually experienced a real Bahama vacation, they might call this a 'perfect day' Going back to my initial statement, this is just an amusement park, or a caricature of the Bahamas. But this is just my experience and opinion. read more

We visited CocoCay for the first time during a one-day stop on our Royal Caribbean cruise, and it was a memorable experience. The island, owned by Royal Caribbean, is just a short walk from the ship. CocoCay offers a variety of spots to explore, including Chill Island, South Beach, and the Thrill Waterpark, each offering something unique for every kind of traveler. The complimentary guest trams make it easy to get around the island. There's plenty of food and drinks available, with many options included in your cruise package or drink pass. We spent a wonderful day enjoying the clear water, soaking up the sun, and capturing beautiful memories. read more

My second visit to Perfect Day at CocoCay was even more memorable thanks to the private beach access. If you can afford it, it's definitely worth it! The drink package from the cruise continued on land, which was fantastic. The heated pool, fewer people, and beautiful setup with hammocks made the experience so relaxing. The food was excellent, with a variety of options like coconut shrimp, ceviche, and burgers. The bartenders were friendly, and the music added to the vibrant atmosphere. Overall, it was a fantastic day, and I highly recommend the private beach access for a more exclusive experience read more
