She requested a retainer and overpromised to present documents here and there to defend me in a promptly manner. I had only 20 days to fight a motion presented by my ex-husband. I sent her all the documents pertaining my case and followed up with phone calls every 1-2 days for the next 15 days. I lost 15 precious days waiting for a reply. All her assistant told me was "she'll call you back". She never did. On the 15th day I requested to meet her to pay a retainer of $750, and she agreed to meet me. Of course, she showed up late. When we met, she did not even apologize for her half-month absence, and tried to make me think I still have "plenty of time" because my due date was still in 5 days: Wed, Thu, Fri, SAT and SUN (She counted 5 days including Sat & Sun, what a joke). While listening to her plan to respond my ex-husband I realized it was just more of the phony baloney she presented before. As I had my laptop with me, I searched her reviews (I know, I should have done that sooner) and found the same horrible experiences I was passing through. I gathered my documents, told her I would call her back, and walked away. I am so thankful for all the reviews posted about her, which prevented me from falling into a trap.
