Swiss Mushroom burger with green chiles. This was absolutely yummy!
Robert B.

Out in Chino Valley for work & starving. This place looked good on yelp. Easy walk in & order, everything comes out to go. They have several picnic tables outside, so thats where I went. Honestly one of the best burgers I have had in a long time, this was fng delicious. Im guessing the mushrooms are marinated in a pepper & wine balsamic or something like that. The beef was just outstanding and it was seriously just a pleasure to devour. I will definitely be back & you should go try it as well. Kudos to everyone there.

This place is really awesome. Lots of variety and so far everything tastes good. Burgers are excellent and so are chicken sandwiches. Staff is friendly. It has a drive through although its not really fast food. Time wise somewhere between fast food and a sit down restaurant. They really should get a speaker though. Currently you can't order til you get to the window so if there are many cars you will have to wait longer. They do take your order and have you move while they make it so that speeds up the process a little. Also there is no menu at the window so you have to remember what you wanted from the menu until you get to the window. A speaker at the menu would simplify all of this.

10/10 Jumbo Dog. Perfect amount and very filling. Love the outdoor seating and that there is a drive through. Great restaurant design.

Nice and cozy spot with a relaxed atmosphere. The hotdog was juicy, and the bun was fresh and soft. The toppings were generous and added a nice touch. Friendly and quick service.

This was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. The bun was soft yet held everything together well, and the beef was incredibly juicy and seasoned just right. The combination of toppings and sauce created a perfect balance of flavors. The service was excellent, with staff checking in to make sure we were happy with our meal. The restaurant had a lively but welcoming feel, making it a great place to enjoy a burger.

Would come back again. Everything was cooked well, and the toppings were fresh. A little more sauce would be nice.

Had the BBQ for lunch. The chicken was juicy, but the BBQ sauce was too tangy. The portion size was good. It's a decent meal if you're not too picky.

A quick pic of how clean and cute the inside is.

This place was amazing in all aspects! To start off all employees were so professional, personable, and extremely kind. I can tell that they truly enjoy their job and this is their passion. The place was so clean and welcoming. We ordered a cheeseburger, sweet potatoes fries, shakes, and chili. It was all amazing and very fresh! I highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a bite to eat! They also had fresh homemade desserts that I plan to try next time!

The menu has all the classic café favorites, but what really sets this place apart is the quality. You can truly taste the care and love that goes into the food; everything feels thoughtfully made with fresh, homemade ingredients. I didn't catch the name of our server but she was so cute and sweet. It's the kind of spot that feels warm and inviting, and you leave looking forward to coming back. If I were a local, I would definitely be a regular. Highly recommend!

I prefer to drink my coffee with creamer & get a refill when I've finished the cup, not deluting it in between. The menu is very cleaver in stating the toast comes in 1 or 2 pieces, not slices as we normally expect. So for 2 "pieces" you really get one slice just cut diagonally in half. I look at these things & wonder where else have they cut corners to such an extreme. One thing that is beyond their control is the sales tax you pay in Chino Valley. It adds a 4% on top of state & county tax. You end up paying that tax in this town even if you just buy food at a market, which I personally view as just wrong. I visit Lake Havasu once in a while where they add just 1% but the roads aren't full of pot holes & have all the services one would need.

It was an early morning after a late night. We tried to get delivery but Im happy we didn't making us get up and GO! What we found was a small joint with a Cheers like vibe, not the bar part of Cheer but where everybody knows your name. Our waitress, Krista, (hope thats right, she deserves for me to get it right) was warm and familiar. She felt like an Icon, people frequent this restaurant if not for the food, then for her. This is not a fact, just the way it felt. Entire staff we interacted with were beyond friendly, they were kind and authentic. No pictures but want to shout out the hot chocolate my Grandson and I asked for. Like everything at Randalls, they were so much more than expected. An x-large mug filled with creamy, dreamy cocoa, heaping with whipped cream drizzled with caramel and chocolate syrup. Yum-O! DRINK THIS. I heard the coffee was amazing too. The food finds. Lots of menu options but this is what we landed on. Chicken Fried Steak Verde with Biscuits & Gravy: Covered and smothered, I was told it was different and delicious. Chicken fried steak can take on different textures and this texture was "perfect". I can attest the homemade biscuits are what you want a biscuit to be. Not crumble when you bite it but raised with a density and moistness you use your tounge or finger to help it off the roof of your mouth. I dont like sausage or bacon gravy but if you do, you'll enjoy this in totality. EAT BOTH OF THESE. I got a plain biscuit to go. Pastrami Rueben and New England Clam Chowder: While the pastrami was not cut from a made in house slab, this sandwich was so good, perfectly grilled bread and the saurkraut was NOT bitter or too sour. The homemade thousand islands dressing sealed the deal on the sandwich. I was leary about the NE clam chowder because of its yellowish color, so glad I was wrong. It was flavorful and balanced between clams and potatoes. EAT THESE BOTH. I brought some of this dressing AND chowder home. Mmm hmm sure did. Apple Cinnamon Pancakes: My grandson ordered these and Krista suggested a short stack but let him know if he finishes it and is still hungry, she'd get him another. These pancakes taste as good as they look. The batter produced fluffy, tasteful pancakes. Apple compote not too sweet, not under or overcooked. Its safe to EAT THESE! Ribeye Steak and Eggs: You can see the grill marks in the photo and thats what it was a perfectly cooked, (maybe seasoned with lights salt) tender steak. This breakfast steak was so trim that the 8oz was meat, not fat. EAT THIS! Eggs are fresh and it deserves to be said they do hashbrowns right. The cooks make sure to get that crispness on the outside that make hashbrowns so good. Its a hashbrown skill thats either overlooked or under executed. Went to Randalls for breakfast, left with homemade biscuit, dressing, clam chowder, apple butter and OH I almost forgot, a big-ole' cinnamon roll (gifted to my daughter because it was her birthday) that was still warm from the oven and so much more. I cannot wait to go back. EAT HERE!!!

Food was all cooked perfectly so no complaints on that and highly recommend those. The chef was absolutely ON POINT and really the only reason I rated so high. However, the service was horrible. We came to Sedona to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. It was a big deal so we wanted to have a really nice dinner to celebrate. Made reservations at 7:15 about 2 weeks before we arrived. In those we let them know we were celebrating and we asked for a nice view if possible. We arrived for dinner at 7:12 and it was packed. We had to stand by the door waiting for a table for about 30 mins which I know it's busy so we were willing to be patient but that was just the start to the awful hospitality. Once they finally did sit us down, they gave us a table in the back of the restaurant next to the bathroom so quite literally the worst view but again, we were willing to be forgiving. (I've been in the industry for 8 years so I get how it is and I try my best to be aware of the situation.) Waiter comes over to say a quick/not very warm hello and says what do you want. We order the apps and ask sweet wine recommendations to pair with the oysters. He had no idea, and had to look at the menu and basically read to us what we could read for ourselves. Didn't seem like he really knows the menu that well. We wait a bit for the drinks and he brings the bottle of wine over without an ice bucket. He lets my husband taste it (kind of ignored me and didn't let me taste it too which was weird) and we just kept the bottle bc we knew service was being slow and we didn't want to wait for another. We asked him for an ice bucket and he never brings it over, we ended up having to ask the manager to bring it over finally so our white wine doesn't get warm. While we were waiting for apps for some reason the manager randomly took our plates and silverware from the table so when the apps came we had to ask another worker (not our server or the manager) if we could have those back. The server did check in on us but we felt so rushed the whole time. Asked us while we were eating apps twice if we were ready to order dinner and we just wanted to enjoy our night. The third time he asks us what we want (we were still eating apps) I was literally looking at the menu to decide and he was like "are you ready now?". Sir I am literally reading the menu right now. So I rushed my order and thank god the food was amazing or else I would have been livid. Finally the dinner comes out and we start enjoying that glorious/lifesaving food. While my husband had finished eating and they cleared his plate, I was still eating and the server comes over and asks if we want desert. We say no (woulda said yes if the service was better) and then he immediately says "ready for the check then?". Note I am STILL EATING and we have half a bottle of wine left. We just felt so rushed it was awful. And they didn't mention anything about our anniversary, which just shows awful hospitality. We had to ask him for the specials because he "forgot to tell us". Like we are spending a lot of money for great food but also great service and ambiance of a restaurant. It just seemed like operations weren't coherent and everyone seemed stressed. Again I had been a server for 8 years, I know how it goes. But that is no excuse for rushing us. And it's not like we were taking a long time. They just don't know how to take reservations, have hospitality, or handle a rush properly. I just wanted to feel special since we were having a special day. Most places offer free dessert or something or at least a note or at least a server with some personality. He was very abrasive and we didn't feel very welcome or like he appreciated our business at all.

We ended up sitting outside, and I loved that the patio was covered and equipped with heaters, which made it cozy even with the weather acting up a bit. It was lightly sprinkling, and we did get a few drops here and there, but honestly, it didn't take away from the experience. Now let's talk about the food--absolutely delicious. The deviled eggs were generously stuffed and beautifully presented, which made them just as enjoyable to look at as they were to eat. We shared the filet mignon, served with mushroom risotto, and wow... it was completely out of this world. Perfectly cooked, rich, and full of flavor. We paired it with the honey garlic carrots, and they were the perfect balance of sweet and savory--definitely a standout side. I also ordered a smoked blueberry sour cocktail, and it was so good--unique, refreshing, and well-crafted. Service was solid and consistent throughout the meal. Nothing over-the-top, but everything came out smoothly and as expected. Overall, this spot really delivered--from the ambiance to the flavor-packed dishes. I'd absolutely come back again.
