NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE AT PEP BOYS: Store #0271 No Call Backs 4 Days Later- After Pep Boys Overheated Car 3X- Overheated Engine- Totaled Car- Denied Access to Tow My Car Home- Towed Car With NO Notification- Sent Towing and Storage Bill $756 and Still Waiting for a Solution! June, July and August 2018 My car overheated 3x, Pep Boys sent me home 4X, replaced the water pump, timing belt, head gasket, and t he 3rd time the car overheated the engine blew out. I called Pep Boys manager, Christopher Bouchard, and informed him of the problem. He denied towing the car at his expense, YELLED at me and my family at his store denying responsibility for the damages. Pep Boys accepted responsibility for damages to the car and totaled the car. Pep Boys claims examiner, Ronda Grant, sent me a check and informed me that I could still pick up the car at the Pep Boys location. March 2019 I came to the Pep Boys, Store #0271 with my family to pick up the car to have it towed to my home with own insurance. Mr. Bouchard refused to release the car to me because he was informed that Pep Boys now owned the car. At this point, I left the car at Pep Boys and accepted that Pep Boys owned the car. I took their word for it. April 2019 On April 12, 2019 I received a certified letter from Dick's Towing LLC stating the car had been towed by AUTHORIZING AGENT CHRIS BOUCHARD claiming the car had been abandoned! If I did not pay the towing charges and storage fees of $765.60 they would repossess the car and send the bill to collections. I was NEVER notified by Pep Boys that the car was being towed. If I had, I would have towed the car to my home myself as I had previous requested. I was told by Pep Boys they now owned the car. I have called customer relations several times. It has been 4 days and still no response. read more

This is a review/complaint about the Pep Boys on Park Meadows Blvd. in Lone Tree, CO. We have had some negative experiences with them in the past, but never "formally" complained until now. One of our 3 cars (and we take ALL our cars to Pep Boys regularly, but the TRUSTED one in Castle Rock, CO) broke down late at night on Jan 20th, ironically just across the street from the Pep Boys in Lone Tree, CO. Our daughter was driving the car with her boyfriend. She called the Pep Boy's to get towing service to the nearest Pep Boys (which, as I mentioned, was just across the street). She waited HOURS and "dispatch" could never find ANY driver to tow their car! That's not even what I am taking the time to complain about though. It was the POLICE who had to call THEIR tow company that they contract out with to tow the car to Pep Boys, and they did it in under 30 minutes. So the complaint relates to what happened the next day, when "John", the manager or/and mechanic at Pep Boys in Lone Tree, CO interacted with my daughter. He discovered that it was nothing more than a dead battery, which for almost anyone, would be the very first thing that is checked on any car that breaks down and with the "symptoms" the car had, which was no power in any way. He replaced the battery and then tried to charge her almost $440 dollars for doing so!!! My daughter called me, and I told her this was an exhorbitant amount to be charged for a BATTERY REPLACEMENT in a 2015 non-luxury used car. So I called our trusted Pep Boys, in Castle Rock, CO, and asked them what they charge for the same (without telling him about what the Lone Tree Pep Boys was charging). He said it would be $216! So I told him what the Lone Tree Pep Boys was trying to charge our 20 year old daughter, and he said he was going to make a call to them. Thankfully, he called back and said that they dropped the $100 diagnostic charge, as well as whatever else they had tacked on, and were going to charge her $316, because the battery they had in stock was a "better battery" and would "last 2 years longer" than the average battery. My daughter goes in to pay for the car and "John" tells her that "Nothing will pisses off a mechanic more than having another store call them about a problem". He basically berated her in the store and made her cry when she left, and even though it was ME, her mom and the OWNER of the car who called the other Pep Boys for consultation, and that very reputable manager voluntarily said he was going to call the Lone Tree store to try to find out what was going on! The battery should have been the first thing that "John" checked, and he should NOT have taken financial advantage of our 20 yr old daughter who had to have the car towed there at 2:00 in the morning, and he should have seen in our customer RECORDs that a diagnostics had just been done on the car about 2 weeks prior at the Castle Rock location. This is exactly why our daughter drives all the way from Aurora, CO to Castle Rock, CO to that pep boys because of the good treatment that she gets in Castle Rock versus the shady treatment she gets in Lone Tree. Furthermore, when she paid and left with the "repaired" vehicle, the battery light remained ON. She then went back to the Lone Tree store, to "john" and asked whey that is, and he was again RUDE to her in his tone and language, and said it will "eventually go off". Even I know that warning lights can and should be RESET after a service or repair is done! Even more, my daughter bought a batter reader right after leaving that Pep Boys, at the store across the street, and the battery was not even fully charged when she left, therefore leaving the battery warning light ON in the car! It got worse! Her car BROKE DOWN right after on a 6-lane exit ramp off Hwy 25 in a snow storm at rush hour at dusk from a dead battery, that was just installed!!! HORRIBLE! And $320 later! UPDATE: Someone from the Corporate Office called me today, 1-25-22. He was very polite and kind and let me know that he'd had some other recent complaints about this person and assured us that this issue would be addressed appropriately, and he wanted me to know that Pep Boys does not condone this type of behavior towards customers. He apologized on behalf of the company, so I just wanted to update my review to reflect that it does appear that they are taking these complaints seriously. read more

Well this sucked. I went on the web and ordered a battery for the Lone Tree location. It took the order and said it was ready for pick up. When I got there, they told me that the retail side is closed and that they can't help me as they do not have any batteries to pick up. What a waste of time that the website let you order something and get an email saying that it was ready and they are permanently closed for retail. I will never go back for anything. read more

I always bring my car to this location and have had no issues. They are very busy and typically very booked up so plan on leaving your car or adventuring out to lunch next door to kill time. If you are looking for a quick in and out deal I would maybe go somewhere else BUT they are very honest and friendly which to me is worth the wait. I was in need of an oil change. I had never been to a Pep Boys before. I decided to use them because they have the convenience of scheduling an appointment online. I made an appointment to get an oil change while I was on my lunch hour at 2pm. However, upon arrival to their store, I learned that apparently appointments are completely irrelevant. I was told that they would not be able to start working on my car for 3 to 4 hours. I asked the associate why that was even though the appointment was for 2pm. She explained that there are already cars in the back and no mechanics are free. That in itself is totally understandable. Of course the business has to take care of the customers who are already in the shop. My gripe was that, if they were so busy, I should not be offered that appointment slot. I wasted a drive and a chunk of my lunch hour to accomplish absolutely nothing on my car. There was nothing on the site that mentioned the time slot you select for an appointment may be an approximation. The confirmation email also failed to inform me that the time of my appointment was irrelevant. I then requested to cancel the appointment and the associate made absolutely no effort to keep my future business. All I got was a cold "ok" and nothing else from her. It leads me to believe this is a common enough occurrence that the staff is just used to canceling scheduled appointments and it doesn't phase them anymore. Again, I completely understand why they could not start working on my car immediately, but if that's the case, they need to either inform me when I'm scheduling for an oil change, or eliminate the scheduling ability entirely. This is the first and last time I visit a Pep Boys for any type of service. read more

Really wanted to give it half a star if that was possible. The worst pep boys location I have ever been to and I have been to some really bad ones. Made me wait for 5 hrs in the store and then told me ..they may not be able to get to it after promising me they would take care of me in 1 hr since it was just an AC recharge. I just decided at that point to take my car keys back and go to a different place. The most incompetent front desk at servicing and the technicians are the worst as well. The manger of the store is the absolute worst as well and has no control over whats going on. Will never go here again or will recommend to anyone. This store should stick to selling parts and not providing service. My car had a problem with its' cooling system and this store provided the repair, while also breaking the plastic from grille. The car is flawless and a 2015 Chevy Cruze. The car doesn't have any damage and the grille is the only thing that is broken, not a mark on the vehicle other than the broken grill. Tried to address the problem with manager and the assistant manager (Chris and John), without success. I will pursue resolution through Pep Boys Corporate office and will consider legal options. Most importantly, I will communicate my experience with everyone I know, and I know a lot of people! read more

I came last week to fix a tired punch and it took 1 hour for the job. This week I have the same issue, with the same symptoms. This week after waiting for another 1 hour they have not taken my car to the service. So I asked if it takes more time? Spoke to Chris. He doesn't speak politely to the customer. He is not willing to admit Pep boys fault of not doing the job done properly at the first place and trying to put the blame on me that I may have stuck another pin in my tire. Poor customer service. I will not go to Pep boys again. If you want to waste your time, this is the best place to go. They have 3 in the reception but have one person to do the garage work. read more

My windshield wiper came off while I was driving on a snowy day and I was a little panicked. Came in to this location where Troy immediately greeted me and helped me fund the right blade. He even came out in the snow to take a look at the car. Then John very kindly helped me install them and top off my windshield fluid! I'm a typical girl who knows nothing about my car and get nervous dealing with mechanics. These guys made me feel comfortable and trust that my car is safe! Thanks John and Troy!! read more

Arguably the worst experience with an auto-repair shop I've ever had. They can't keep track of anything.

Had an appointment for an oil change. Took 2&1/2 hours. Entire experience was terrible. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else.

As a woman my expertise is not in automotive.. fortunately. I trusted the guys here and they sincerely really listen to me. They gave me what I needed in tires and Randy suggested an alignment. And I'm glad I did. I wasn't really sure if that's what I needed. But after driving my vehicle I was thankful I did. Wow what a difference... Thank you Randy!! There was a slight problem with my bill that I didn't notice until the next day. I contacted Chris the store manager and he was more than happy to adjust my ticket... That was so awesome of him no hassle..."love it":-) Also Bobby who worked on my car was amazing "focused" mechanic...He was so on it, it wasn't even funny!! Good for him! Took a couple days to have an oil change and tires changed. They were apologetic about how long it took, applied a discount breached out to me and said they'll try harder next time. Brought my truck in to get the oil pan fixed & they definitely did do better. Got it done in half the time and still applied a discount to make up for the issues with my first car. I feel very well taken care of and appreciated that they remembered. read more

Worst service ever went in to see if they could plug my tire on Sunday it was 20 mins till close mind you all other tire places plug tire for no charge these people said their is a charge but could not help me because they where closing soon when their was no one their it takes maybe 10 mins to do a tire plug will never go or recommend these people I will go to discount tire where they actually care about their customers and don't charge for plugs they will fix it even if you did not get your tires from them ! As so many before me have said appointments mean nothing here. I came in yesterday for a 2pm appointment and was told they only had 2/11 bays operational and the wait was 3-4 hours. I rescheduled for today at 10am and I've now been here 1.5 hours. My vehicle just got pulled into a bay but no work has started on it yet. Well after another half hour when I asked what was happening they informed me that they don't have any of the oil that my vehicle takes. It's a Nissan Pathfinder. Absolutely the worst customer service experience ever! My husband's car was overheating and we brought it in to be looked at. Chris the manager told us they could look at it and let us know what was going on. My husband specifically said can you do that right now because he had somewhere and he had to leave me there with the car. Chris said yes we do have to wait an hour for it to cool off. I sat there and waited for over two Hours and return to the desk to Get an update as my car was still sitting in the front. I spoke to an employee named Art who said we have four appointments ahead of you and the appointments take priority. He then told me it was going to be several hours. I told him that Chris had told us they were going to look at it in an hour and he was aware that I was waiting. He said no that's not what Chris said I was standing right here he told you would be an hour and a half. He was argumentative and continued to try to tell me I was wrong. I told him that I know EXACTLY what Chris said and I didn't appreciate being called a liar however it doesn't matter whether Chris said an hour or an hour and a half because you're now telling me it's going to be four or more hours and no one bothered to tell me that. He decided to tell me that he was discontinuing our conversation and he would let me know when the car was done. He was absolutely out of line with the worst attitude I have ever experienced from a person providing customer service. He was argumentative sarcastic and rude. I promptly asked him for my keys and told him I would not be returning. I didn't do this because of the wait, or even that it was going to take several more hours than they told me. I did it because the way I was treated was not only bad customer service but it was downright mean. No one should be treated that way especially a customer. I am absolutely appalled and I left in tears. This man is a bully and I highly suggest you NOT go to this establishment . Went in yesterday for an oil change. I like Pep Boys for that because they include tire rotation. Went in and they were empty. I also had an appointment but figured it would still take a little bit. It was one of the fastest oil change experiences ever... almost too quick. When I get back into my car I realize exactly why it was so quick. My tire pressure light was on and no sign of tire rotation either on the tires, or checked off in their check list they left in the window. It seems that all they did was the oil change and that was it! Sorry but with so many choices, I do pay for my oil change for the convenience and the full service of checking everything. I gave 2 stars based on the speed, but I prefer waiting a few minutes more to get a full change. My synthetic change cost $60, and all I got was the oil change, rip off. read more

I am writing a review because just the plain and simple act of going into this store to buy something that you know you need and can find quickly cannot be met with efficiency of checkout. I gave it 5 stars to the action of one employee who did the right thing and 0 stars for the ineptness of the overall experience - thus is should still be 0 stars on average. I was in this store during a week night and bought something i needed - no problem - and came back on a Saturday afternoon to make a purchase of the same item as i needed 1 more. I was standing behind a couple who was already working with the cashier to pay and I was waiting patiently/quietly and no attitude. Tthere seemed to be an issue with the couple's order in front of me, but again, I was waiting patiently but scanning around to see if there might be another cashier /checkout location (there were in fact 3 others with a Pep Boys cashier). I looked to the next cashier and he was taking care of someone who seemed to be having an issue also. There were 2 other cashiers over near the automotive repair entry/exit door and no one was in line there. I actually made eye contact with one of them but stayed where I was at so as not to leave my position in line. I got nothing - no waving me over, nothing. I looked around and counted at least 3 visible employees walking around the floor/between the aisles, etc. and none of them was actually engaged in helping anyone (and I had even been greeted by one of them as I walked in to ask if I needed assistance and I said no because I knew exactly what I needed and where it was). In there time it took me to make this assessment that another option for checking out was not available the couple in front of me had moved on/left and the cashier WALKED AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was standing there incredulous that he walked away even though I was standing less that 3 feet from the couple that had just checked out!!!!! So I waited another 5 full minutes before someone finally came back to the checkout station. During that time I observed another couple that had the same idea I had and had gone over to the 2 open cashiers near the automotive repair - and had been turned away so they came back to stand behind me again. One of the open / available employees had passed by the checkout stand I was out, made eye contact, said nothing, and went to the checkout next to me where the guy that had some issue and the cashier who was taking care of him and proceeded to apologize to him and say he was sorry about.... blah blah blah. In the meantime, NO ONE came back to the checkout location where I was standing and despite there being at least 2 parities in line waiting to checkout! I was looking around for the cashier that had walked away, no where to be seen! The couple behind me, walked away again and came back a minute later as they realized there was no one else who was going to take care of them. Finally, a guy came back to the checkout station to take care of me. Only I get this from him, "Is this all you want?" - I had one item. I replied "yes", he rang up the item and told me the amount. I said "That item is on sale." and he said this is the price. I said, "I was in the other night and bought one of these and I wanted another one -I even have the receipt." So he and I walked over (quickly I might add) to where I selected the item and right in front of/over top of the item was 2 other items of different colors, ALL WITH THE SAME SALE PRICE on the sale tag and it had no date of effectiveness for the sale. The guy held it in his hand, looked over the sale tag thoroughly, looked at all the items, and then we went back to the checkout. I said, "It must be difficult to check people out and to be accurate if the computer isn't reflecting the sales prices and you have to go out to the floor." I then see my receipt on the counter from the previous purchase, and i notice that I was overcharged on the item when I had been in there 2 days before. I told the checkout person this and he simply discounted my current item to make up for the overcharge (YEAH!!! He came through w/o delay). He then said, it saves a lot of time and paperwork for both of us. I vowed to write this review of the STORE/Company because my husband had a similar situation at another Pep Boys store in town and we decided that the reason we both had such crummy experiences over the course of 4 days is that this company must be such a pain to be employed by with an awful culture that NOT ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES CARE ABOUT THE JOB or THE CUSTOMERS! Wakeup Pep Boys! You are only in business because of your location/proximity to large #'s of people, not because you offer anything of real value to comment positively about spending money at the store. Get a competent leader of how to take care of your customers and read the reviews people write - there is a reason for such low ratings overall and you can actually FIX some of the things people are complaining about. read more

this place must be buying votes. HOW are these guys getting anything more than one star (with no stars not being an option). HOLY RIP OFF BATMAN! I brought a car here for a look over. I told them i'm thinking of buying this vehicle and this is the test to see what's wrong with it. I paid $150 for the test and slipped buddy $50 to do extra thorough inspection. He came back at the end of the day and said "buy this car, there's nothing wrong with it." I bought the car and two days later the check engine light came on so I brought it to Pep Boys and they charged me $150 to test to see what's wrong with the car. I told them they shouldn't because I JUST did this and they said it was perfect and they said "we don't own a crystal ball." After paying the $150 for the test they told me the heating coils were broken in the engine so it's going to be $2500 to get them replaced and my car running properly or it will die in a week. Absolutely no help at all or anything when I proved to them that they had told me to buy the car two days prior because it was in "perfect condition." Yeah. Expect this. read more

I wanted to give these guys a zero star review but YELP kept taking my one star review down. .I took my car in to them because they were close, big mistake, first they told me the battery was dead, then they said that the alternator needed to be replaced and overnighted from Indianpolis, then they were going to call me but I waited long enough and had to call them, it was done but not fixed, next they said that the regulator was bad, I told them I would pick the car up and take it to the Chevy dealer down the road, how stupid am I, never again, OH and they replaced the battery and now they want to charge me $161.00 for the battery, is it solid gold or what, what a rip off please save yourself the headaches and take your car to a dealer . SO I had to give this place a 2 star review so they would put my review up, I took the car to the chevy dealer and they found the only problem was that the battery these guys ripped me off on was bad and they could not figure that out so they started throwing parts at it all the time I am in a rental car,,,,,,,,how nice read more

I usually go to firestone for basic stuff but they couldn't get me in before the Super Bowl so I decided to try Pep Boys of Lone Tree. First of all the guy checking me in continually talked to customers behind me. I watched him and he does this to everybody. I would think you should focus on the customer in front of you but what do I know. I was having my breaks checked as they smelled like something was burning and an oil change. Then i noticed that the option for free tire rotation was unchecked so I asked for me free tire rotation. Simple enough right? I get my car back, they could find nothing wrong with the breaks, great. I drive my car the next day and there is a horrendous shimmy at highway speeds. I bring it back to them they say that they will have a look and get it balanced. When i go and pick it up they try and charge me for the balancing. I told the guy my car wasn't shimmying before I brought it in and now it is. I was never told that I would have to pay for a balancing after my free rotation. This is important because if the first guy would have stopped talking to people over me and educated me on possibility of additional costs I would have been fine with it. Its called managing expectations. Clearly the customer service side of their service counter is lacking, I digress. Then the second guy tells me its my fault that my car is shimmying. I was blown back and asked the guy what exactly he meant because it sounded like he tried to blame me for my car shimmying. Then in a condescending tone he told me i don't know the difference between balancing and tire rotation. TO make matters more interesting this hack of a mechanic starts yelling at me about what the details of rotation and balancing are. So I fired back "Maybe if your service writer educated his customers then we wouldn't be having this conversation." I told the guy I wasn't going to pay for it and he did waive the fee. In summary these guys suck. Totally incompetent and have zero customer service skills. This could have been avoided had the original service writer said there may be additional costs for balancing but he was too busy asking the customer behind me who they liked in the Super Bowl. read more

Summary: Horrible quality of work. Mislead you into paying for services that are unnecessary. Everything takes days too long even when you have appointments scheduled. No accountability. A few nice folks and a few really nasty employees. Most recent issue I had to take a part they put in my car back to them for a refund. Firestone across the street fixed their crumby work and they're much nicer to deal with: Email to corporate on 1/9/14: You should be ashamed of the quality of service your Lone Tree, CO location delivers. Not only are members of your staff (Brian) incredibly rude, they are deceitful and provide the worst quality of work I've experienced in nearly 20 years of car ownership. I have NEVER had a positive experience in my 2 years of dealings with the store and have often had repairs redone OVER AND OVER AGAIN. In 2012, we dropped my car off for routine maintenance and the delivered me a car without AC. We then had to take the car back and spend 4 hours waiting for them to flush my engine coolant due to the air they left in the coolant line. Considering this is an annual maintenance I've had done, it was odd that they don't quality check their work if this is something that can happen. Fast forward to 2013. We brought in the car due to a small oil leak. They fixed a gasket and the problem persisted. We brought it back in and they said it was another part of the oil assembly. They "fixed" it and sent us home. A week later the leak was massive. We brought it in and they said it was another part of the oil assembly and it would cost me $500+ and was unrelated to the first repair. Would you believe that??? I took it into Nissan and they advised me (with photos) that Pep Boys replaced a very specific part with a generic part that didn't fit the assembly causing it to fail and leak oil. The cost at the dealership...$30. I feel taken advantage of, lied to, and ashamed that I kept going back for the abuse and lies. Now, we had the car towed to Pep Boys in June 2013 to fix a failed fuel pump. The work was done and the car has been without issue since then. Today, the fuel pump failed and after 20 minutes trying to get someone on the phone (at 8am) to no avail, the tow truck towed me across to Firestone who has confirmed it was in fact the fuel pump. I now am told by Pep Boys the earliest they can even check out my car is tomorrow. This is your/their fault and now I am at the back of the line. As with everything else with them/you, if you did it right the first time, I wouldn't be in these situations. I'm looking at $400-$500 at Firestone or entrust my vehicle yet again to a dysfunctional store unworthy of my trust. I'd ask you to allow me to get the work done at Firestone and to reimburse me for my cost. I will also spend my next several evenings making sure that every consumer I can get to on online service ratings and via the better business bureau know what kind of company is being allowed to operate in our area. I'd love to hear from you as the store management has proved worthless with the exception of some very polite people who are frankly incapable of resolution (Walt, Priscilla, and Mark). read more

Bad service at pep boys Park Meadows dr. My wife Karen took my pick up to this pep boys cause of a coolant leak, i had tried to find the leak but could not pin point the problem cause it would gush coolant a while after driving. She paid the 60.00 to have the coolant system pressure tested and the mechanic said it was a leaking head gasket and would start at 800.00 to fix it, i went to Bear Frame and Axle for a second opinion and they tested it for free and found it was a short bypass hose. I replaced the hose and went back to Pep Boys and asked for my money back and the repair manager was an a$$ about it, he had the same mechanic pressure test it again while i was sitting there and held a flashlight to the area and said it was still leaking but quickly took the light away when i tried to look but there was nothing leaking he was flat out lying and defended his mechanic. they may do scams like this all the time the way they acted and the best diognosis would have been the hose or the thermostat cause the head gasket is not near the hose. this was a while ago but i get so angry when i see the manager is still working there i even boycotted them for a year. read more

The pep boys that we went to on county line was great. Even as busy as they were they still we very accommodating. The new manager there was great. Go see them if you need any thing. read more

Rory is the parts department assisted me is getting a new taillight. He called another store and had them deliver the part I needed same day. The service manager told me if I wanted help with with putting the part on I'd need to leave my car and come back. I did not have time so Rory looked up which bulbs I needed and walked me through how to do it myself at home. I got to switched out and feel like a total bad ass thanks to him. He is my new guy at his location! read more

Beyond helpful. My rear blinker went out on a Saturday and I was worried about driving my kids around and someone rear ending me. I didn't want to wait till Monday to go to my usual place. Drove there at 6pm and Jon had it fixed within 10 mins. I had no idea how to even get the glass off the light to change the bulb! He took me to the bulb section, picked out the correct bulb, walked me to the cashier then out to my car to replace it. My husband works away and I was so worried about driving with 3 small kids in the car. Thankyou so much for helping a Mom out. I'll tell everyone to go there read more

Still not too sure how to rate this place. I had a pretty good experience for tire service. Alen/Dan/Aaron did a pretty good job in the tire department. Got me in and out in about 90 minutes or so. Why the low rating if the tire side did a great job?? It's the rest of the store that brought it down. It's almost like the store needs to hire two permanent cashiers instead of having the employees do it. I saw on multiple occasions people standing at the cashiers station waiting for someone to ring them up. Technician lied to my face. If I could give less than a 1 star I would. Had an appointment to have my battery checked. They had my car for one hour and 15 minutes. Said it took that long to get a reading. The technician told me that one cell was completely dead and that I would need a new battery. He told me my warranty service denied the claim that "it was the driver's responsibility" and that they close at 5 pm and it was 5:15 so he couldn't even fax the paperwork. He tried to sell me a new battery. I called my warranty company and they told me that they never denied the claim because they never got any information or paperwork from Pep Boys. And that they were still open because their time was one hour ahead of us. I called back to speak with the technician and he stammered saying that he was with another client and would fax the documents when he got a chance and would call me back. Of course he called me back after 6pm and said he just faxed the forms but doubted that they would get them in time. He lied to me and had to go through several steps to cover his behavior. It would have been much easier to have just made the call to the warranty company and install a new battery. I will never go back there for anything because they lied about a simple service. Definitely not to be trusted with more complicated services!! read more

Set an appointment yesterday and they told me to show up at 4:30 today. Show up at 4:20 and they told me I'd have to wait at least 4 hours. The moron behind the service counter said that they shouldn't have set an appointment for an inspection. He said sorry, but nothing he could do. Waste of time and money. I just had a service done on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I was quoted 495 for my service. I wanted to cry. I did my research and called back and asked if they would install the parts I bought on my own. They not only said they would provide the parts but they would match the price. I was in tears with the money I was saving. When I went to pick up my jeep. Everything was done in a timely matter and everything was fixed and they gave me even a better price and gave me my oil change for free. They not only did everything to keep a customer but went above and beyond to make this right! I will continue to go back for services and recommend them to anyone I know. Thank you Joe and staff for making this right and giving me the price that I was hoping for. Thank you pep boys lonetree you are amazing!!!
