Established in 2012.

Peoples Mediation, LLC was founded in 2012 by Derricka Peoples Black, to assist clients that may not be represented by an attorney or would like to settle out-of-court. After years of working as a family law paralegal and administrative court clerk, she found that finding the right divorce solution can be challenging. That's why she cultivated the practice to offer free consultations to walk you through the process, the scope of your goals, and your budget. She offers a full range of domestic services specifically designed to explain options, and encourage a peaceful, cutting edge solution using the latest techniques and styles.

Meet the Business Owner: Derricka B.

Derricka Peoples Black became a Certified Mediator after years of working as a family law paralegal and administrative court clerk. She has developed a compassionate, yet thorough approach to conflict resolution with over 15 years of experience in the legal industry. She focuses her practice primarily on domestic relations matters. In addition, she provides notary services, document preparation, start to finish divorce preparation and document review for filing with the court. Most importantly, she is dedicated to helping clients reach satisfactory results with minimal investment of time, money, and little to no-court appearances. She currently practices in Oakland County and Wayne County.
