This company provides long term jobs, they do not focus on temporary positions. When applying with them, I had some reservations due to my assumptions of these type of career agencies. Most of them charge a fee or take money out of the checks to provide you with a job or information about a job. It has been a wonderful experience. I went in and submitted my application followed with a interview, and I was interviewing for my current position within a week. I did not have any expenses from using them. The staff was very helpful and worked well with me during my process to find the right job. They focus on your interest and experience to find the best fit. I would recommend anyone that is on the job hunt or a new graduate to contact Career Personnel to make job hunting more bearable and a lot less stressful.

Anyway, I mentioned that my friend wanted me to go out of town with him for a few days; the job didn't start until 2 weeks. Kelly Services went behind me and told the company I wasn't a good candidate; I guess because they figured I wasn't available enough. Now I cannot be hired with the company in 30 days. Killed my chance. DON'T TRUST THEM.

FYI -- This agency is now located on Cotton Street…read more I applied for a customer service position. When I arrived, I was told that I had to take a drug test. I was not informed of this ahead of time, so I was not as prepared. (I would've had more to drink if I had known.) The other issue was that I was told that this was a Customer Service Position. They gave me a 3-page questionaire asking me questions for phone sales. I returned the questionaire and told her that I am not a sales person. I'm an office support person. (Receptionist and data entry specialist.) I told her the recruiter that she misled me and that I couldn't stay for the interview. She didn't say anything. She just glanced at her other co-worker's, who also didn't say anything. At that point, I turned around and left the building. Very disappointing. I would not recommend this agency.
