We stayed in this lovely pension apartment during a recent visit to Dresden. It occupies an old…read moreremodeled building across the street from the Hotel d'Arte. It offers a short five minute walk to the center, with the option of walking along the river. Our apartment (for four) was spacious and modern. Although it was hot outside, the presence of a fan and the thick walls made for a cool retreat. Beds were comfortable, and apartment was very clean. Note that the lift only goes to the third floor. They have Wi-Fi, but in our 4th floor apartment, we found it a bit spotty. The woman at the front desk (I believe her name was Stephanie) was lovely, and fluent in English. Definitely would stay at the Am Zwinger again.
