Old but updated in what I guess is a classic German Spa style…read more This place is in a Spa town ("Bad" in Bad Pyrmont is "Spa" in German or something), it's full of retirees and visitors/out of town employees to a local company that I work for. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, in the somewhat sparse German style. There are many somewhat expensive spa packages (well, for me, during business travel they're pricy), and a really nice pool and sauna. The restaurant is fancy and has a lot of options, and there's also a second restaurant attached for more traditional German/Bavarian fare. The front desk is always pleasant, and the bar and lobby area intermingle nicely.

A generous breakfast with regional organic products is served. It is also worth mentioning the ultra-fast Wi-Fi in the rooms, which is not something you can take for granted in many German hotels. Unfortunately, there is also a small downside regarding parking near the hotel. Parking is only available on the street and subject to availability.
