Only and biggest complaint- there are no available charger outlets for the top bunk so you have to be trusting and leave your phone charging on the floor. There is also no shelf up there so you can't keep anything up there. The management is so incredibly friendly. Upon arrival, they are set out to help you check in and organize your stay with discount to for toes and such. You can rent a towel for just .50 euro. The actual property is extremely convenient to the city and is just a short walk from restaurants and bars. There is a bar in the ground level which is a great way to meet people in the hostel. The rooms are a bit tight, but not overly so. The bathrooms are some of the cleanest I've seen and I met the cleaning staff at least once per day. I am now pretty sure they are owned by the same group as Meininger Hotels, which explains why I'm not a fan. The place is nice because it is close to the train station, but the old town of Salzburg (where most people visiting spend their time) is at least a 30 minute walk, so once you are out for the day you aren't gonna be able to just pop back for a second. The rooms themselves are fine. There are no curtains around the beds, which I didn't love. It was also SO hot in the room and there wasn't any kind of fan or air circulation. They did have a communal kitchen, which was nice! Overall, I wouldn't come back just because of the cold and sterile vibe of the place, but it is cheap, so really to each their own.

The services provided at the front desk include: a bar, coffee, tea, food and snacks. The prices aren't to terrible either. The WiFi is fantastic, and it seems to be throughout the entire facility, not just in the common areas. A huge benefit is A&O's proximity to the train station. It's a short and easy walk to get to the front desk. I highly recommend staying here.

This hotel is a fairly large ski lodge tucked away in the forest. It is very clean and spacious. They offer an amazing breakfast with your stay! We're talking, eggs bacon, assortment of cheese, cereal, pastries, toast, coffee and tea.
