After being checked in we head to the elevator where there is a sign saying to watch out for pick pockets. Doesn't give you a sense of security to stay here. As we were here before the rooms were ready we checked our bags and headed to the trade show which was a short Uber ride away. So the positive of this hotel is it is centrally located. My hotel room was small and no frills. In fact this entire trip I regret not packing hair conditioner as the shampoo made my hair feel like straw. The sheets and bedding were not great would have liked something softer. I didn't try the tv but heard that there was nothing to watch no surprise there. When I checked out I Ubered to Dusseldorf Airport which was $95 Euros. My colleague left the day before a car was arranged for him by the hotel and they wouldn't take a credit card and drove him to a bank to get cash before taking him to the airport. Sounds like a shake down for cash to me. Hotel rates were at a premium due to the trade show over $500 Euros a night. Would probably not stay here again
