This supermarket in this town on the Dutch-German border is unusual in that it caters uniquely to…read morethe German crowd. The product range is very diverse, especially in the coffee and cheese sections. In general, a mix of Dutch and German products can be found. Prices are low to moderate. The store is clean and ideally located next to a large public parking garage with an elevator - taking your shopping cart directly to your car is very easy (EUR10 deposit when you take a shopping cart outside the store). There are always weekly special buys, and the store is open seven days a week.
On the downside, the aisles are narrow, which is especially frustrating because of the large number of patrons in the store, especially on weekends. Store employees constantly use the PA system to promote the weekly buys, which is a bit annoying during longer shopping trips. Also, to my knowledge, the "2 Brueder" do not validate parking for the nearby garage.
Overall, a great and convenient place to shop, even if not rock-bottom cheap.
