We talked about my concerns about our tile, which is extensive in our home. Then we went to the master-bath and discussed the glass door and glass enclosure wall, of the shower. It was covered by hard water and soap build up. Another area was the tile pan in the same bathroom. The color had turned darker and it was difficult to get it cleaned, like it once looked when it was new. I definitely feel we were given a very good price for the work that was done. Jim and Kim worked on their knees for hours, cleaning our tile and scrubbing the grout. Jim spent a good amount of time on our shower. The results were amazing. Our tile color looked like it was brand new! The grout color was perfect again. The bathroom glass door and enclosure, looked like it was just installed.....so cleaning and bright! I could see the shower pan looking through the bottom of the glass door. But wait!!!!! After all the beauty of our glass shower coming alive with a clean sparkling effect, the shower pan was absolutely perfect! Frankly it was too gross to shower in. Kirk arrived right on time, and even called me a couple of hours earlier to confirm our appointment. There is not much I can say about the quality of Kirk's work, because the photos speak for themselves (they are attached). Very good work. I am very pleased and happy to recommend Advanced Refinishing. My only nit picky complaint is that Kirk does not take credit cards, so be sure to have your checkbook at hand.

I took a 70 year old wood kitchen chair to him, which was broken where the cross piece bracing the legs joined a leg-- an overenthusiastic guest had leaned back and broken the leg at the narrow part, which also happened to be where the cross piece joined. It looked pretty hopeless, because the leg was so narrow through the area broken that it didn't look like much could be done to brace it. But Mike managed to get a slender metal support up into the leg, and somehow also reattach the cross- brace in the same area, and did it so well, I'm still puzzling over exactly which leg it was! It supports normal weight, and as long as no one leans back on the back two legs again, I expect it to go another 70 years. Thanks Mike!!!!

The LVP is lifting in areas because there are uneven surfaces. The LVP has lifted so much, that the boards are sharp where they have popped. I contacted Modern Flooring Services and they informed me that my warranty expired in February (2 months back) and that they won't be able to help me. This isn't a warranty issue, this is an installation issue. Don't use this company as they won't make good on their mistakes. They did offer to provide an estimate to repair the work, however. UMMM.
