Lovely place, where so many locals hang out. The owner, Juan Carlos, and staff make you feel so welcome. During our four days in Vejer, we visited at least as many times... sometimes for tapas, sometimes for a meal. If visiting at lunch, sit in the back - in the lovely cave under the ancient walls of Vejer. For late night: sit at the bar, chat, hear about life in Vejer and let the amazing staff introduce you to the liquid flavors of Andalucia. This isn't a fancy place, but it is a warm glow: good for the heart. Good place for any group, most occasions. Not an anniversary dinner, but still good if you are inclined for some local flavor and drinks late night. read more
