I've never seen a more complete and methodically assembled tax filing and he discovered errors in one of our previous year's filings which we will be refiling for since we are still owed a refund. This tax year we are looking at a very sizable refund from our taxes and we are a peace knowing it was all done correctly and nothing we could have benefited from got over-looked. We won't be doing our own taxes from now on but will depend on J & S to take care of our tax filing needs.

The Avalara account manager set up a phone appointment, but then didn't call me or return my emails. The next day she set up another phone appointment, but didn't show up for that either. Over the past 3 days, I have contacted technical support over a dozen times trying to cancel my account or get information or be transferred to someone else who could help me. (I also asked tech support if there was a link where I could cancel on my own, and they said no, that I needed to speak to the account manager). Today I received an email from the account manager saying that it looked like our timings were not "aligned" (wtf?). No acknowledgment, no apology. She sent me a link to cancel the account on my own. Why couldn't she have sent me that in the first place, rather than making me wait a total of over 2 hours for the phone appointments that never occurred. Why does Avalara make it so difficult to cancel? (Turned out the link doesn't give me the option to cancel my type of account.)
