I've had Pena Tree Service come out a few times, once to cut the leaves on my palm trees, and the other was to remove 4 palm trees and several thorny bushes completely from my side yard. I was impressed both times by how clean of a job they did and how extremely efficient and professional they are. When they removed the palm trees, I was pretty nervous beforehand because the trees were very tall and the space they were in was really narrow (they were planted in a small side yard right next to 2 houses). They did an amazing job though, and finished quicker than expected! They did stump grinding as well, and were careful with the machine. The pricing was very reasonable. During the stump grinding, they accidentally broke an irrigation pipe, but they immediately fixed it right after and everything works perfectly. We've lived here almost 20 years and Pena Tree Service is probably the best tree service company we've used. Felix is knowledgable and generous with information, and Eddie ran the crew like a well-oiled machine. They were on time, they took down a 70 ft. star pine, trimmed two tall palm trees without using spikes (avoiding scarring) and expertly laced and trimmed a huge ficus tree all by lunch time. They cleaned up and were conscientious about composting the palm leaves separately so a second crew led by Irbin came to clean up the rest. Very professional. Felix provided a reasonable quote for 13 trees: one removed entirely with the stump grinded, six pepper tree prunings, and six tree reductions/shapings. The cost was a little more than another quote, but I chose Felix because he understood what I wanted, plus his YELP reviews are praiseful. I also needed the service to be insured. Eddie was the site manager and was actively involved with the hard work. There was no damage to any of the landscaping and the grounds were raked, leave blown, etc., and cleaned up entirely. Today we had our specimen Coral Tree trimmed. We especially wanted someone who was experienced and proficient at pruning this type of tree. It is the main focal point in our front yard. Felix arrived promptly with his crew and wasted no time trimming with 3 people at different areas of the tree working in concert with each other. Another member of the crew started immediately cleaning up as they pruned. They brought a large dump trunk which was used to haul all trimmings away I also had them trim a palm frown and limb off one of my melaleuca trees. All debris was blown and picked up from my property. I was very pleased with the effort exerted in the cleanup . The finished product looks terrific!
