The barbers pay attention to detail, and the entire experience is very relaxing and enjoyable. Staff is very friendly, and if they can't take you as a walk-in, it's easy to make an appointment. This is a new barbers shop where you can get your new look sorted!…read more The owner and hairdresser is a super friendly guy from Mexico City. He just opened in January 2017. Although it's a small space, the design and style is awesome and old-school. There is a real cow scull hanging on the wall (then you know it's a good barbers!!) and the wooden furniture looks awesome! Furthermore the barber can give you a great new look, he will explain his idea in detail and will then start to work very precisely. The result is amazing! The price is excellent for a barbers with this amazing result. It costs 150 pesos for a normal haircut in which he applies one of his special waxes. He also sells these different waxes, a famous one from the Netherlands (Reufel), American wax (Suavecito), Mexican waxes (Ponteduro) and also waxes from Oaxaca like "Don Porfirio". You can also get your beard trimmed or you can get a shave. You should make an appointment beforehand, via Facebook, phoning or just popping by. The service is excellent and they offer you water or a coke! In short, a good barbers with a great result for a very fair price. If you are looking for a new look in Oaxaca, this is the place to go!

This is definitely my favourite hairdressers in Oaxaca city. It has a great location really near…read morethe centre, in the street behind the Santo Domingo church. It is a small hairdressers with two chairs and two hairdressers. I gave it 5 stars because of the price-quality, it only costs 50 pesos to get your hair cut and styled and another 20 to cut/style or shave your beard. A really good thing is that you do not have to make an appointment, they are quite busy but you normally don't have to wait a long time. My recommendation is to ask for Jesus, as I have really good experiences with him and not so much with the other hairdresser. Jesus is really friendly and is always up for a really interesting conversation, he knows so much about so many different things. But if you do not feel like talking he will get the hint and keep quiet. I always go here for a good talk and of course, my principal objective, a good haircut.

Went in and waited (one barber on duty, cutting another clients hair). When it was my turn I was very explicit, in Spanish, how I wanted my hair cut. He totally ignored what I said, doing a buzz straight up the side, so there was no way to get to what I had said I wanted. Thankfully, my hair grows fairly fast.....
