She explained that the kitchen was open for dinner and to return after 3. Based on the Google reviews, I did just that. When I returned, the original waitress was no longer there but a wonderful woman who spoke English and French made me feel very welcome, translated the menu and made suggestions. I asked her to choose a wine for me and 2 tapas plates. They were both amazing. The service was 10 stars, for English, Spanish and French speakers. She also suggested sites around the city and was super helpful in selecting a wine. Great place!

I was a little disappointed that we had to re-use our plates at the buffet, but other than that it was excellent and I will definitely return! Good choices for vegetarians as well, and one of the best Cesar Salads I've ever had in France.

The waiters and baristas seemed totally overwhelmed with what only seemed like a half full restaurant. We were seated next to parked cars in a dark street corner, even though half of the restaurant was empty. There is no chance everything was reserved, because we got there an hour before the restaurant was closing.... 2. No one was willing to talk to us about a food/drink order. After waiting for 35/40minutes we respectively left the premises and had to go the counter and pay because no one wanted to give us the bill. Upside: the coffee came quickly. 3. The food seemed overpriced and mediocre from what we could see. Brunch is only every Sunday AND just in winter..so don't be fooled. 4. Unfriendly and unwelcoming staff, after we paid we kind of got waived out the restaurant for absolutely no reason. It seemed tourists or non French people aren't welcome here and get treated second class. All in all I don't recommend trying this place since our experience was really disappointing and negative. I know running a restaurant is not easy and it only was our experience, so if you go I whole heartedly wish you a better experience.

Our light lunch of the cheese plate and salad delivered. The cheese was rich and delicious with the truffle brie a highlight of my cheese adventures in France. The salad was more American than French but was executed well: crisp, fresh ingredients, bacon, cheese, beautifully fried chicken, and a flavorful in-house made dressing.

On that note, we stumbled into this restaurant after being rejected by a couple others in the neighborhood that would not sit us because they were closing for the night. Perfectly understandable because I too would want to go home after a long day and not have to deal with another bloody tourist and his finicky girlfriend that wants lemon and filtered ice in her water.... I liked this restaurant from the outset, it is well lit and you get the feeling you are dining in a former warehouse or something with its deep set, painted over brick walls. The Mussels and frites and the Le pectroas with frites were superb. And so was the service. Even though we didn't speak the language the server was patient and assisted where he could in his broken English. We made it work and had a great relaxing meal.
