He was professional and an absolute blast. He knew what he was doing and put us on the fish right away. We just had the time of our lives. So much so, when we go back we'll definitely be hookin up with him again!! One of the things that made this trip and Marshall so epic was that I had originally scheduled a night charter as my husband's birthday present and it was canceled due to weather. We had gotten his name and number from another amazing Captain (Scott at sudden strike) and I called Marshall. He was originally taking the next day off but instead agreed to take my husband and I out for the day and we had such an great time!!! A day we'll remember forever!! He's so personable and you can tell he really loves what he does!! Look him up, you won't regret it!!! See ya next year, Marshall!!

Fishy, fishy on our hook! That was basically the theme of the day!…read more Will, our captain is a Fish God! No sooner did he bait the hook was he measuring our keepers and handing off the next baited rod. Will was like a well-oiled machine with the way he was constantly ready, no down time. A couple times he was even helping to show us what area to cast in around debris and leftover rock walls and no sooner did the pole hit the water we were reeling it in! He's 'reel' funny, knowledgeable and kind. He was very informative, knew everything there seemed to be to know. It was a 'reel' good time! Been on a few charters before and nothing has come close to this experience, he is o-fish-ally 'fin-tastic'! (I'll stop with the puns now) As if fishing wasn't enough of a blast, we even got an amazing dolphin show, complete with 2 babies! They were definitely putting on a 5 experience just like Will did! Will had the boat completely stocked with bait, coolers, rods, ice cold bottled water, and had plenty of additional cooler space for our lunches. Not only was our lunch on the water beautiful but dinner was 5 as well with the fish taco spread! We were able to feed 10+ people and had leftovers. Not only did we meet an awesome boat captain, but I'm happy to say, Will is the kinda dude you'd easily end up with a life-long friend. #LoveLikeLauryn

He has been in Ponce Inlet his whole life and grew up there. Fishing is in his blood! I booked a 6 hour trip for my husband, father-in-law, neighbor and twin 18 yr old sons. They were at the docks at 6:30 and were on the water by 6:45. It was a slow day, but Captain Ellis put them on fish! 2 Snapper over 25lbs, 2 Bonita and 4 King Mackerel. His first mate JJ was a joy to have on deck! He and Captain Ellis cleaned the fish, bagged them up and recommended some wonderful things to do and places to go. Ponce Inlet in itself is gorgeous! But being able to fish with professional, honest, humble and just all around great people makes the trip even better! Stay Local! Shop Local! Book Local! Thank you Captain Ellis and JJ for a wonderful day!

Sadly I cannot rate zero stars. I cannot begin to explain how disappointed we are. My 3 kids and my…read morehusband booked this fishing charter on our last day in Florida (We are from NY). The first charter we wanted to book was the off shore experience and Tony wrote us back saying the weather was not going to be that great for off shore fishing and that he had in shore fishing available. So we cancelled the off shore and booked for the in shore fishing for that same day. Tony replied asking if we were sure we wanted to book for the 1pm one and we agreed. My family was so excited. Our last day in Florida came and we arrived at the pre-discussed location at Tony's boat, only to find that Tony was not there. When we contacted Tony, he stated that he thought we had cancelled our fishing trip. How can this be when we agreed upon meeting at 1pm and also received the email confirmation AND the deposit was taken out of our account. (Both deposits actually). So you can see my frustration when I have to tell these three excited young boys who are all packed up ready to board this boat that we can no longer go. Not only can we not go on that fishing trip but since it was our last day in FL, and it's already 1pm-we couldn't even book with anyone else. On top of this terrible experience, Tony was actually quite rude and did not own up to his mistakes which made everything much more frustrating. I would never book with him. We actually got in touch with another fishing charter who we plan on booking with the next time we are in FL I'm a couple months and he says, "Oh, I know Tony..he's a real d*ck. He will take you around to the docks and that's about it". Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Oh and save every message/email you have because you will need the proof.
