I've had very nice interactions with the people who work here, I have to say they are solid. Peet's coffe and tea has the best coffee I have ever had. The flavors are perfect. I recommend the white mocha and the white mocha fredo. If you are buying coffee beans I recommend the french roast. I love Peet's. I would go everyday if I could, but the closest one is 25 miles away. read more

I usually come in the mornings once a month to get a two 1 lb bags of coffee. Staff shows good teamwork to cover for each other and keep the line moving especially when my purchase requires one of the workers to grind the beans. Staff is courteous and friendly which is important and much appreciated. Coffee is always good. read more

What a nice coffee shop. I've always liked Peet's but this one is particularly nice because it's larger and very open and with a Patio in back. If you are all worn out from Trader Joe's stop in here for a cup and take it easy for a few minutes. The pastries are nice too. Big selection of coffee to take home. Overpriced, as most coffee is, but very very good. The staff is pleasant, the atmosphere is nice. They're hardly ever busy when I walk in. My favorite drink is the green tea freido, with extra matcha and whip. One thing that always bothered me about Peet's though (Apart from the *not* free, timed, average-slow speed wifi) is that you have to take the drink from the counter, then top it yourself, at least for what I order; I always feel like I'm going to drop something on my way to the condiment table. read more

I love Peets coffee. I can't stand the S place. The lattes are great. Unfortunately, though, I have to rate this store only a three. I've have to wait more than 5 minutes for a *cup of coffee*. I always seem to make it in here in the 8:30-9:30am morning rush and so there's always a dozen customers in there already. However, the coffee bar has always been thoroughly staffed and I've never had a long wait even with 2-4 customers ahead of me. I would also say this place is child-friendly because they stock things like juice boxes and other things that kids like to eat/drink. 4 stars instead of 5 because this high-traffic location is understandably not always de-cluttered in the table area. read more

Love this Peet's. I come here pretty frequently on the weekends, and the staff is always super friendly. Most have learned my name and order, and they've even started on my drink when the line is long so I don't have to wait for it. I typically get an iced almond milk latte and it's always awesome. Got the rudest service this afternoon (1/4/2012 around 4pm) from both Michelle and the other gal, but especially Michelle (at least that's what her name tag said). My husband ordered our pastries (carrot cake and a cookie) and she pretty much threw the carrot cake on the counter. The other gal (no name tag) said "HEY." So rude but luckily she wasn't talking to me, but a friend of hers who she then proceeded to make evening plans with, phones pulled out of course, while she was supposed to be working. After we sat down I realized I didn't have a fork for my carrot cake. My husband went to fetch a fork and came back with a knife. He'd been told they "didn't have forks." Horrible, rude service. TIP: The new Boudin is in the same parking lot as this Peet's and the Boudin has Peet's coffee, only with much better service. read more

There's this guy who works here who looks like something straight out of the fifties, and he sneered at me when looking at the scone pieces at my feet after making me sufficiently uncomfortable by trying to look at me without me "noticing," which I obviously was, but I didn't want to be rude so pretended not to. Honestly I couldn't care less if you stare, just don't be objectifying about it. It was just for his comfort that I pretended not to notice, if he were more comfortable I just would have stared back. But of course he was just looking at me to make judgements about me-- without my participation in those judgements, like most clueless Aholes will do. The Peet's staff give you the teeny weeny bags and crumbly pastries without asking if you're staying or leaving, which is fine I guess, but it means more cleaning for them. I tried to make do but simply couldn't eat over the bag. I saw a pretty big mess on the chair next to me too, and sprays of scone basically all over the floor from people who came in before. I resent the fact that a twenty-something dude is only the third or fourth twenty-something year-old dude to stare at my face like he's looking for something between 6 and 7 in the morning (and that's not including older men). I was barely awake and driving and attempting to have what little normalcy I can both in the car and at Peet's given I had no place to sleep last night, and given that people are staring at me because of my facial expressions and because of my features from somewhat far away--not because I look like a I don't have a place to stay, but because I'm sexually attractive, at least from a distance. I can never have the space or peace of mind I want in public when I actually care about that. So then there's this white guy who doesn't experience sexual harassment at a comparable rate in this universe, and he's staring at me and my face uncomfortably and thinking he's a manners God floating above it all. The fact of it is I could have been severely mentally disabled. Then he would have been sneering at person who was probably very vulnerable psychologically. Or I could have been physically disabled, or both. That's what irks me the most--his obliviousness to women's problems and unwillingness to acknowledge anything outside of his small realm of experience. He was obviously in very good health and would have no trouble eating over a small bag or doing many other slightly nuanced tasks for any reason. I asked to clean up after myself with something the staff would use, and the female staff-- who also happened to be the manager, said no don't worry about it. I am honestly not above cleaning up after myself, cleaning the toilet after other use it, etc.-- like seems to be a problem for so many people. I try to make the mess look more discreet, and this fifties guy just glides around judging me; with a look on his face like he just shat himself. I stopped for a cup of coffee ,paid, then they would have to make a new batch I was told. I was in a hurry so I said I can't wait so can I just have my money back? No big deal, l was told it would take longer to refund my money than to wait for a batch as she stood next to the register, l just left. I used to go to this location all the time,. The last two times I went they botched up my americano. It was so bad I could not drink it. Save your money you are better off to get coffee at seven eleven. If you must go to this location avoid going near closing time because they will not make a good drink. They just want to go home.
