I got an iced matcha latte and a brownie, both were pretty good, I just wished the matcha flavor was more prominent.
Aanya C.

The matcha was okay and the brownie was nice. Overall it's a good coffee shop, nothing too crazy.

Big bang coffee - recommended for you black coffee drinkers like me
Marvin P.

One of 42 different coffees at Peet's called the Big Bang recommended by Shine, who was enthusiastic and awesome! Thank you, shine! Even though I like my coffee hot, the coffee can be too hot at times where I have to wait 5-10 for a little sip. I feel Peet's is underrated and has an edge on Starbucks on the coffee strength and flavor tip, if we're talking about an all black cup of coffee. Just how I like it. Haven't really explored Peet's on their speciality drinks though, so I can't speak on the comparison. Recommend the Big Bang for all my fellow black coffee drinkers!

Plant based breakfast sandwich and a small americano
Cathy R.

Came in this morning to try the new Vegan Plant Based Breakfast sandwich. The gentleman behind the counter had a great personality and smile. Very friendly. I ordered the new 100% plant based breakfast sandwich and a small americano. Came to $10 The flavor of the sandwich was great, however the bagel is larger than the sausage, cheese and egg, so there are bites that are just the bagel. The cheese, the egg and the sausage patty are all plant based. Some places advertise plant based sandwich, but the cheese and egg are not plant based. They are at Peet's and it tasted great. The bagel is a thin everything bagel so it makes it much better to bite into. Parking can be a little tough as it is at the bottom of Grand Ave and parking is limited. If you have the app you can order ahead. I hope they keep perfecting this sandwich by adapting the size so you get deliciousness in every bite!

the corner of a city street

If you live in the Bay Area, you're familiar with Peet's Coffee. There are plenty of location throughout the area. I've visited Peet's locations in Berkeley, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Half Moon Bay and several other spots nearby. In a strange sort of way, this might be a quintessential location -- a spot that is unpretentious as it is quirky. It serves all of the great coffee and tea drinks that we've come to admire (and I'm looking at you, Major Dickenson blend). However, it also serves a respectable assortment of coffeehouse bakery staples too. Yet, what makes this particular spot fun is the location. It is on the corner of two busy streets (the corner of Grand Avenue and Airport Blvd.) and located in a building that seems as old as South City. It's in a very cool old building (seemingly as old as South San Francisco itself). I often visit this part of South San Francisco...and I usually arrive by Caltrain. So, with the new train station FINALLY completed (a couple of years behind schedule of course), this has been my go-to spot for a cup of coffee or tea. This is great for those cold mornings in the area (even in the summer). The shop staff and baristas are nice too. They are patient with the noobs and generally offer some optimism on the side (free of charge). Consequently, they make a nice location even nicer. Well done! *You won't find much in terms of parking. There are spots on Grand Avenue; however, most require parking meters (limited to two hours).

Having my Christmas coffee - Snowcap Mint Macha Latte(with Soy milk).. 4 stars because I taste more soy milk than the coffee itself :(

The staff are all friendly and reminds me of cheers where "everybody knows your name." the service is great, especially between 6 and 7 AM when everybody's rushing to get to work, positive attitude, kind and always wearing a smile. Nice to hear old school style music. My family and I have been coming here for the past ten years and we plan to keep coming. We love Peet's coffee and teas.

This Peet's coffee located not too far from SFO is nice and convenient. This Peet's is right off the freeway and provides great service. If you ever want a sweet treat, try one of their Javiva's. So if your near SFO and looking for some coffee, or a sweet treat, check this Peet's out!

I love their Horchata latte!
Lakota H.

This place was right on the corner, busy traffic but a calm Haven with all our favorites. My drink is the horchata latte with three shots. The Almond croissant was pretty amazing too warmed up. All the staff is accommodating and efficient.

Drank the black tie coffee for the first time. loved it, definitely coming back for more, but not regularly because of the sugar content.

Great place to meet friends and chat over coffee. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Just wished they did not close so early at 5 pm.

We also ordered a pistachio latte and a cardamom latte. Both were exceptional. The service is very welcoming and friendly. The shop is squeaky clean. The interior had cool green tiling on the counter, hanging plants, and a little stand with fresh flowers for sale. Ordering was convenient on the electronic kiosk. For drinks, I ordered the Mint Lemonade (so tasty and refreshing), but the caffeinated beverages looked awesome, as well. For food, the 3 of us ordered the Pistachio Berry Twice Bake Croissant, Smoked Salmon & Labneh Bagel, Cream Cheese & Heirloom Tomato Bagel, and Armenian Sujuk to share. The Pistachio Berry Croissant was unreal! The outside was perfectly flakey and the inside was so gooey and delicious. The bagels themselves were mediocre (I always have low expectations for California bagels), but the filling was great, especially the smoked salmon and labneh. The Armenian Sujuk (pizza) as very tasty, and was also great leftover the next day. Service was quick and friendly. Would happily return for more!

Breakfast burritos...yum. Yum yum! Popped in here for the first time to try their breakfast…read moreburritos and they are hearty and packed. I've been exploring all the breakfast burritos in SanFran but this place is now also at the top of my list! I ordered a breakfast burrito with sausage and was happy with all the fillings - chunky potatoes, good amount of egg, onions, tomato, and chunky pieces of sausage in a spinach tortilla. (Instead of protein, my friend added avocado instead. And you can choose different types of tortillas - flour, whole wheat, spinach, and others) Just overall good and very filling. Not huge but not small either. The only thing I missed was salsa to put on it. Tapatio packets were given instead. (To be fair, these are Latin American-inspired breakfast burritos not "Mexican" burritos with salsa on the side.) Great breakfast burrito! Looks like there are other dishes to try. Lots of people were also there on Sat morning and enjoying their breakfast. Plenty of tables. We'll be back!

In SSF where options are limited, this is a great stop. This coffee shop has plenty of food options and great coffee options, including soy milk. The service is great. Can't wait to come back and try some of their breakfast options. They have a HH, but I didn't see the menu.
